Tattoo Information, Rates, Consultations, Appointments, Deposits, Custom Drawings, What to do when getting tattooed...
- Yes, all tattooes hurt, Lol. Pain all depends on the individual, the location and what will be involved to do that tattoo. Some places hurt more than
others, and color takes much longer to do than Black n grey work does. Pain is not based on body composition, its based more on nerve endings. What hurts one
person may not hurt another. So, first timers, you will get a million different explainations on how it feels...Its all part of the entire tattoo experience,
Its addicting!
- When getting tattooed Do not be on Blood thinners a few days BEFORE your tattoo!! This includes aspirin, specific supplements and herbals, any alchohol drinking, and even specific blood
thinning medications. In the medications case, Please check with your doctor FIRST before doing anything and getting tattooed. We want that new tattoo to heal in the best way possible!
- If you are diabetic or have any healing and or other health related conditions, again....Please check with your doctor
FIRST before doing anything and get cleared BEFORE getting tattooed. A Tattoo is still considered an open wound and needs to be healed appropiateley
- If you are coming for your first tattoo, make sure you have something to eat BEFORE your appt. This keeps your blood sugar level up. People passout
or get light headed for this reason. Even bring a juice or soda with you and maybe some candy in case this happens.
- When getting tattooed please wear appropriate clothing so I will me able to get to that location. dress in
comfortable even baggier clothing, something that is not expensive that may be junk cloting, in case ink may get on it.
I want you to be as comfortable as possible while I can give you the best artwork I can!
- All Tattoo work and rate is based on a time scedule. Smaller tattoos are easier to determine he amount
of time required. larger tattoos are based on multiple sittings and are an hourly rate paid for per-session. Rate Starts at 120.oo per hour.
rate includes ALL time we work with you from drawing to setup to finish. Tattoo studio Minium cost is 60.oo.
ALL sales are subject to a 6.35 percent Connecticut Sales Tax rate! We accept Cash, Mastercard or Visa debit or Credit and Shop Gift certificates.
Sorry, no personal checks or other credit cards accepted. We do have an ATM on siteat the Studio.
- ALL Tattoo appoinments are sceduled at the Front Desk and require a CASH only deposit. Amount of deposit depends on how much time you
block out. ALL deposits are CASH ONLY. All appointments requre a 24 HOUR CANCELATION NOTICE!. The deposit for your appointment you will receive a receipt
and it will go towards your tattoo time. You can rescedule your appt given 24 Hour notice.
If you do NOT show for your appointment, or no 24
Hour Notice is given you will lose your deposit! Its NON REFUNDABLE. Shop policy. Acception is in true emergency or if you are sick, we are cool that
way, we totally understand!! Sorry we can not take phone in Appts. If you need to You can rescedule your appt you can do so over the phone.
- ALL Quotes are ROUGH Estimates of what will be involved to complete the tattoo. It may be more or even less depending on actual
appontment. By the Hour Pieces are large multi sitting pieces and are just that, By the Hour Paid for each session. In most cases when
we say By the Hour...it is not a Quotable piece because we are unsure of how long it will take. For example, a full color dragon backpiece,
or a full arm black and gray floral.
- Please book a consultation for larger tattoos, especially ones that will require pre drawing.
Small ones no consult is needed, these can be drawn up day of tattoo. Any consultation is FREE. Smaller tattoos can consult as well if
you would like to speak to the artist beforehand! Im more than happy to chat with you about it and get the feel of what you are looking for!!
ALL tattoos are important from small to big! Though, when booking an
appointment for actual tattooing will require a CASH deposit only.
- When coming to your consultation and or appointment, it will be YOUR responsibility to bring any necessary images, printouts etc.
I WILL NOT look at images on your phone or electronic media. I need smething clear and larger to draw from. printouts preffered!
Be prepared...for example, if you want a floral piece...what type of flowers you want? Size? Placement? What type of style,,,
realistic...styalized...detailed...simplified, Color or Black and grey work?...
theres alot to think about and consider when getting tattooed. Do some researching, the sky is the limit to what can be done!
If you come unprepared, have no references, then this will add to the
billable time because this is all stuff that has to be done and ready to go. Im excited to work with you and acheive EXACTLY what you are personally looking for!
- Printouts you bring dont have to be big fancy color photo images. Even a black n white laser printout is fine...as long as its a good quality image
and I can see detail. Pixilated, and blury images are not acceptable. I can only tattoo what I can see. Of course the better the printout the better the tattoo
will be.
- ALL DRAWINGS, especially large custom ones that will need to be done beforehand will requre a CASH DEPOSIT. Because of my scedule I draw on my PERSONAL time and
reserve shop time for actual tattooing. Deposits are all NON REFUNDABLE. Amount of deposit will be detrmined by me because of size,
detail and what drawing time that will involved. Smaller tattoos can be drawn up quickly day of appointment and will be part of
your billable tattoo time.
- CoverUps...I need to see what will need to be covered IN PERSON. There is alot involved with these! We can put or heads together
and come up with some great ideas to you will love in the end! Please come prepared with any idea
and or suggestions or samples of what types of images you like. I can work with you and decide what will and not work to cover.
CoverUp work is more time consuming than a blank canvas due to the work needed to complete the job effectiveley.
- TouchUps...Any touchup work is FREE of charge....Touchup MUST be within reasonable time FIRST few months of being initially tattooed, after that time
time You will be charged the Studios Minimal Fee. TouchUps are not included if Client failed to follow healing procedure
or have damaged the tattoo themselves. Some area are HIGH WEAR area and are NOT included in free touchup such as feet, elbows, knees, hands.
These areas are a HIGH WEAR. Please consider this BEFORE getting these area tattooed, they are maintenance. These areas all wear different from person to person.
- E Mailing ...If you e mail me, it may be a while before I get back to you, I DONT check it daily! Maybe ONCE a WEEK if that. I cant really Give quotes
over e mail, I can try if you are EXACT in what you are getting for tattoo, size, colors, styyles, images, location, etc. The QUOTE will
be VERY ROUGH. I DO NOT open any images sent to my e mail. They are all filtered out. I run a large computer system and websites from my home,
and do not accept image attachments to filter out any attached viruses or bugs. The Studio does NOT
quote any tattoo work over the phone. We prefer that you come in and speak to us in person. If you live further away and e mail is easier, Please e mail me first
and I will arrange it so I can coorespond with you via e mail. Id like to to help in any way I can.
- Healing...You will be given specific healing instructions. You will be asked to please follow them. Most tattooed people have their Own way in
what works in their healing process this is fine. If you do something in the healing process to damage your tattoo, TouchUps are not included.
- COSMETIC TATTOOING...is different than regular tattooing. Cosmetic healing and prep informaton is the same as well as policy. Rates are all
different for Cosmetic and are rated on a per Job Basis....which will be quoted to you at your time of consultation. Cosmetic tattoo Info and

Permanent Make-up is the safe and lasting way to enhance your appearance, it can
also be used as a corrective device and return self esteem. Permanent Make-up, or
Permanent Cosmetics (also called Micro pigmentation) is a safe procedure where
sterile, hypo-allergenic pigment (color) is carefully applied (by a fully
trained, fully insured and certified Dermatition) to the dermis layer of the
skin. After the procedure, makeup will not run, smear or smudge. Anything from a
dramatic to a soft appearance is created using custom-blended colors to suit your
individual needs, personality, skin tone, eye and hair colors.
Tattooing since 1998, in 2005 I became a fully Certified and Insured Dermatition specializing in
the application of Permanent make-up in the form of: eyebrows, eyeliner, lips and
lipliner, beauty marks, scar camouflage and correction techniques. I prepared for
and trained for my State License with the American Institute of Education in Long
Beach, California. AIE Long Beach Campus is licensed and approved by the State of
California with the best instructional staff in the Country. All tests were
presented and are all compatible with full California State Board examination
standards.
I offer my customers the security of experience and artistic diversity. I perform
all procedures using hospital grade sterilized (OSHA and CDC Guidelines) as well
as disposable equipment. The finest products available are used, all for the
comfort and full safety of my clients. All Permanent Cosmetic procedures are
appointment only and REQUIRE an initial Consultation meeting PRIOR to procedure (See Info Below in Red).
FOLLOWING procedure follow-up appointments are erquired to achieve results. I am greatly appreciative
of your interest and would love to hear from you with any questions or concerns
you might have, I will go over everything with you in detail. Ill like to hear what your expectations are
and see if I will be able to meet your needs.
Although this is considered a permanent process, varying factors may cause pigment to fade. ALL
cosmetic applications require regular maintance visits. Wear length varies from person to person and
depends on skin types, bodies and external influences. Colors are applied with a hand-held device,
tattoo machine. The pigment deposit is regulated, making the procedure safe and controlled. The
anesthetic used is a topical ointment also used by doctors. I do not use injectable anesthetics. I
require an initial consultation visit prior to the application visit. At the consult all clients
are responsible for decisions on what look they want to have, such as shape, color or effect. I
will glady help with any decisions. I ask that you have any eyebrow pre-groomed prior to the
procedure, please bring any photos or reference you like as well as any cosmetics you use so I will
be able to match any color tones you want. All colors are special custom blended for each and every
individual. The procedure visit will last about 2 hrs. After effects, redness and swelling are
minimal. Anytime the skin is open, even from a tiny scratch, infection is possible. The treated area
must be kept clean. Always follow instructions. Follow-up visits are required. ALL
initial pigments will lighten about 30 PERCENT and you may also get some spotty or light areas, as well as
your color may need to be adjusted at this point. This is all normal, expected and part of the
procedure step process. Follow-ups are 2-3 weeks after once healing is complete.
Call Me or stop at the Shop... At 12 Tattoos and Bodypiercing Groton, Connecticut
(860) 865-0788. I am there weekdays 12:00
NOON-9:00PM. Weekends 12:00 NOON-8:00PM. Call to see when my days off are. I am
able to scedule special appointments at off hours or my days off, as well before regular shop business hours, on a
per client basis.
Costs and Quotes are given at consultation on a per client/job basis.
I will discuss all details regarding procedures, care, expectations and followup appointments
on consultation day. I Do Not Consult, Give Info or Quotes over the phone. ALL Consultations are FREE!!
You will Just need to come in
or call to scedule one.
As far as if you decide to go with and scedule a procedure 100 CASH only deposit is required to hold that date.
At the time of our procedure date that cash is
FULLY refunded to you to put towards your cosmetic procedure. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, and a 24 HOUR CANCELLATION
NOTICE IS REQUIRED to rescedule. If
no notice is given, then the deposit is lost.
- A quote will change if you decide to get the procedure at a date longer after the
quote is given, as with time rates may be subject to increase.
- This quote will change if you will be doing additional procedure as to what was
originally discussed at consultation Ie; you decide to add corner tails and an extension
to an upper liner that was supposed to be originally be a simple line...more work,
means more time, which will be a different cost.
- This quote will change if the procedure takes longer than necessary, if the client is
not prepared or does not sit well enough to complete the procedure in the required
set amount of time.
- Please come prepared to your procedure date appointment! Do not forget to bring in your cosmetics
or colors you use so I can match your colors. Brows should be freshly groomed, waxed
or plucked and be ready for pigment application. If I need to clean up the area doing
any plucking, you will be charged an additional amount. Have an idea of how you want
it to look when complete, feel free to bring in any picture, magazine clippings or anything
you would like to help. You can show me how you wear your makeup at the appointment.
- The initial cost up front includes The first application and ONE FREE followup appointment.
Any followups needed later on will be a charged a smaller fee of $60-100, payable in cash
only depending on what will be done.
- A 24 hour Notice is required to reschedule a procedure appointment, if it is not given, you will LOSE
your deposit. No exceptions. (of course though is OK in case of a legit emergency)
- The followup appointment is imperative and necessary! It is sceduled weeks after the first
initial application. If you DO not use the followup, forget to come,etc...then the work is
NOT Guaranteed and you will LOSE your followup appointment. You will need to re book
an additional followup with a $fee payable in CASH ONLY. Deposit required.
No exceptions.
- All cosmetic work is maintenance it does not wear like a regular tattoo. The face holds
inks/pigment differently. Lip tattoo work lightens dramatically and will wear due to
moisture, skin shedding and wear. With time, over the years you may have to have it
darkened or reapplied. Everyone is different and everyone wears the pigmented areas
at different rates.
- Everyones face is not Symmetrical, cosmetic tattooing will be adjusted to compensate for
that. As far as the healing, each area may heal differently ie; (You have two eyebrows, or
eyeliners, they may not heal itentically...this is why a followup is required to finalize, tweek
and adjust to make as perfect as possible. With eyeliner, no two eye shapes or with brow
shapes are identicle. Again, any adjustments during a procedure will compensate for any
adjustments to make as perfect as possible. )
