| PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING: I am advocating the appreciation of YOUR OWN body through the use of breast implants. There's a truckload of info in here. I am very happy with the decisions I have made. I am VERY fortunate, to have had good doctors to do my special custom work on me with my augmentations. I always felt awesome, and healed tremendously fast!! My decisions to switch were based on size and types. Breast Augmentation, Cosmetic Surgery and the
Decision...
Oh, boy, THOSE issues. Gee wiz, I sure get a lot of questions about
all this. Let me preach, get this out of the way and answer for you
all the of the same basic burning questions that I get on these
issues. You all noticed that women bodybuilders have a low bodyfat
percent, and yes, I am a busty person, and yes being totally honest, I
had them done. To begin, I was always an athlete, all my life, and was
smaller busted. Fact is, bodybuilding does not make you loose your
breasts, this is a misconception. What it is, is most of us were
athletes of some sort prior to entering the sport, and had low bodyfat
and small busts to begin with. It really is also all genetics. You get
what you get. I wanted to do this since high school, and I vowed when
I grew up, and could afford it, "I was there!"

MOVEMENTS, MUSCLE SORENESS AND BURNING....
Hello! Dawn here! First BA? Mine was like that too. You are "moving"
differently than you normally do to compensate the BA, so yes, you will
be kinda stiff and really sore like.....you had one "heck of a workout!"
Try to resume more normal movement, slow and careful of course! You are
fine, its all so new to you. Ive had many redos, so after the first we
all "know what to expect" kinda stuff. Theres the stiff and sore phase
then the I just gotta get out and move around before I scream phase to
the resume normal life phase. I dont really skip a beat after a BA, I
just keep on moving....carefully of course! , Ha!" Hang tight, all
sounds totally normal and fine with you. You will be experiencing all
kinds of "different" muscle soreness too. Like I said, you are holding
yourself and moving much different than you usually do, so your chest,
shoulders, traps and neck and even lower to mid back get greatly
affected. Best thing, slow, comfortable passive movements and
stretching.....Try getting a massage, a pampered shower, anything you
can do to relax! Check with your Dr! Best luck, congrats on the new
"twins"!
TRAVEL EVEN OUT OF STATE TO A PS?... Hello! Dawn in Connecticut here! I traveled to mine! I found the BEST Dr for "me" that was able tp deal with my unique build as well as with my requirements and sets of particular problems. I have been with him for almost 15 years now!! I wouldnt think twicw to travel. If its a "custom perfect fit" with me and the Doc....then hell YYEEEESSS!!! Previously I had tried "locals" closer to me, but in the end it wasnt what I needed, they couldnt deal with my unique build or correct any issues I had.....all and all, in the final end....it was also COST effective to travel and get EXACTLY what you want RIGHT the FIRST time!!! If you opt for less, you may be paying for multiple redos later down the lines as I did. Im a National Bodybuilder and have extremley low fat and very large implants, not many could deal with that. I found the Dr I have now and he really has "saved the Day"....on more than one occassion. It all comes down to...."is it WORTH it to you?"....I was ssssooo worth it to me....even with all followup appts, I just use them as a fun travel adventure!!
BIGGER BUILD AND UNSURE OF SIZE?... Hello! Dawn here. I have the same problem, I have a "larger build"....Im a National competitive Bodybuilder. I carry size and muscle and stay very lean. Problem I have is the implant that looks "normal or busty" on a :normal or small" framed woman can get really swallowed up by my physique and look too "small"! Opt for the larger!! Im 5 ft 5 inches at 170 now. I have 1200 cc implants....these look on me like Pamela Andersons look like on her. I tried 800 cc's but I cant do it, they get gappy and hang so weird and funny. I needed to "fill" a particular area...sounds like you do too. Opt the larger size!
ASSYMETRY.... Hello! DAWN here! I have beeen getting BA's for many years. I started out a AA and at one time was a MMM with a 3000 cc implant "per side". Since then I down sized to a 1200 cc implant. I undid a "BAD" decision and downsized to what I have in now. My stats is 1200cc...(Made by Mentor, they are Double Lumens.) a saline/silicone hybrid made here and available in U.S. I am 5'5", and 170 lbs. (Im a National competitive bodybuilder). I cant follow the "formula" that is posted for women my height. Because of my build and frame, I carry different than a woman that is my height small framed and not athletic. As far as being "rough " on them.....look at it this way, I train in bodybuilding to qualify as a "pro". Been doing this 20 years. Have a 405 Lb flat bench press and a 185 Lb barbell curl. Im 5 Ft 5 inches, offseason and 170 Lbs now...Pretty elan, I stay at abuy 10 % all year long. When I diet down for showes I get into sibgle digits. As far as "rough" on them.....the warranty" applies to EVERYONE the SAME!! I alway have FULL copies of paperwork, warranties and product numbers as well as catalog numbers too! If ANYTHING EVER goes wrong with mine....the Implant manufacturer covers costs to fix!!!! Just do all your homework, keep TIGHT records at ALL times!
ALWAYS CONSULT WITH YOUR DR..... Always consult with your Dr...even its something you may think isnt important...its ok, the only bad question is the one never asked. Id hate to run to my PS over every tiny thing, but if its a tiny simple question or a huge genuine concern and you are not sure..always best to consult...even if its just for peace of mind.
BOOBIE GREED, WANT TO UPSIZE AGAIN........ Hello, Dawn here! Aaaahhhh, Boobie greed. I pretty much lived it. I undid a "BAD" decision and downsized to what I have in now. My stats is 1200cc...(Made by Mentor, they are Double Lumens.) a saline/silicone hybrid made here and available in U.S. I am 5'5", and 170 lbs. (Im a National competitive bodybuilder). So what may be big in "numbers and CC Volume" on one, may not be on another. You gotta go with the "look" YOU want. I never follow the norm or the rules...like you need to weigh this much at this height, therefore you need X sized breasts. Who set the "standard". I dont know, I look at it like this, Im payin for it, its my body, be "individual". So if Im happy as heck but some gals see me and dont approve, I dont really cate too much. Lifes too short, go with what you want....But....
Dont go way too insane (as I did years back) and do something too extreeme you regret and need to undo. The size you speak of you want sounds fine. So, you been told that "your perception is off"....and..."some friends couldn't even tell you had it done"....I dont advise gauging what you do by too much external output. I made my bad decisiion years ago when I was hangin with some large busted gals in the "industry"...so I was heavily influenced. 1200 Im happy with, 3000 cc was the mistake. (I posted my website below) Go with what YOU feel makes you "YOU". Like its said, wheres the "cit-off" as far as too big? Its all "opinion"...like whats pretty, a blonde, brunette....long hair or short hair.....its all the same. A decision such as this is all so "personal". I would listen to everyone, take it all in and make a big "decision soup" and add a little you and individualism....the decide. Make it a good one, the more you redo the more you raise the bar for complications and problems. Make it a good decision and not one where you are unhappy again after it....I know, I lived it, learn from us. Stay happy and healthy, you go girl!!!!
RASH, ITCHING, HELP!!!...... Hello, Dawn here. I have the same problem...every time I did a BA or any surgical procedure at all. Its a common reaction to the tape, (reaction to the adhesive from the bandages or steri strips). The suture areas may redden or itch as well due to the healing process. Another thing that causes a rash will be a reaction to "ointments" like bacitracin, neosporin type things. Its common. The rash may be red, bumpy or even itch too. I did a couple simple things helped a LOT! I got an over the counter simple "cortizone cream, cortaid, etc...", works excellent. Takes rash away and reduces itchies too. Also, I took a simple over the counter simple "Antihistimine"...it helps tremendously with irritations and itching. The combination of the two kept me from going crazy and crawling up the walls! best luck! Make sure to tell your Dr about rashes, redness or itching...always ask him (or her) before doing anything! Im not a Dr...just giving some personal really helpful advice. _lol, XXOO, DAWN
POST PROCEDURE DEPRESSION...... Hello, Dawn here! Depressed after a procedure.....please, Dont be depressed. I "totally" understand. I am exactly the same. Its like this....you build up to this huge event (your BA)...Its a huge deal, high anticipation, emotion and your body is running on high. Then all of a sudden, its all done and its over....kind of like an anticlimactic feeling. Its like when you were a small kid, and its a holiday...you feel kinda quiet and depressed almost when the holiday is over and people and excitement is gone.....Ha...
(a side funny, gotta say it:) well, as adults though...we love it when all the relatives and people are gone an we have or houses and normal lives back with no dramma or stress!! Ha!!!
Ok, back to the BA...Sounds like you look beautiful now! Im a gym hound too. I compete in bodybuilding. Best thing I do after a procedure is gat back to my gym and normal life...I get a new set of high goals and expectations in my head to now accomplish. Gotta move on, get back to fun, enjoy that body girl!!!! They were not ignoring you at the Drs office or anything, its like you want to feel that excitement again. The procedure is over though and it was a tremendous success...a good thing! Consider this, at leat you dont have all kinds of problems, skin tears, suture problems or hematomas to deal with! Get out have some fun and kick butt!
SMOKING....... Taking medications that may complicate surgery or recovery (aspirin and ibuprofen)...smoking is the same. Smoking may interfere with the healing process. Necrosis, or death of tissue near the implant, can occur in anyone with implants. However, smokers a much higher risk of this, according to the manufacturers' study findings. Stopping smoking for one week before and after surgery is recommended. "Women who smoke or have diabetes may be poor candidates for procedures because their blood vessels may have narrowed enough to prevent healing ," Dr. Ferraro noted. "That's why we advise patients to quit smoking and keep their blood sugar as close to normal as possible so that they can benefit from these procedures ."
Here in Nicoles site, Maxine's Personal input on smoking was..."Woke myself in the early hours of the morning - I was coughing. Having taken the pains of cutting down on my smoking to reduce coughing I was very concerned that maybe I had pulled the stitches. I made my way to the bathroom where I panicked, started sweating and nearly fainted. Thank goodness I didn't - I may have caused myself some real damage."
Yes, there are risks, she may need to refrain from smoking in that procedure and healing phase.
BRAS AND SAGGING...... Hi Dawn here! I think bras help! Depends on size and weight of breasts. If larger, bras definateley help in anything "high impact!" Sagging is heriditary....genetic. You can "fight" genetics to a degree though too. I compete Nationally in Bodybuilding and keep my bodyfat VERY low. Been doing it 20 years now, its a "lifestyle"...the diet the training etc... Keep the skin tight and you wont get so much "sag". We all do age though and can anly fight it so long...I plan to do battle till Im 90! Ha! I have my own website I dedicated to this kind of stuff. Its a lifestyle, I like it though. All and all, my "personal" opinion...anything you can do to "help" a situation is better than doing nothing at all.
COSTS, PRICES, PLACES, ETC........ Hello! Cost, yes...all depends on where, what Dr, implant, facility, etc... My first BA was some years ago...but with inflation and supply and demand like anything else...up it goes and can get expensive. Biggest problem I have now, is the "bad" Dr's out there performing BA's that really shoudlt. Some Drs out there feel as if cosmetic surgery is a siple quick money Maker. On the possitive flip side though...the "good" Drs on the other hand can be true artists that can tackle anything. At times, we do "pay" for the expertise. Id be very leary of a "cheapie" BA.
As far as cost, I dont really "price shop"...sometimes you get what you pay for. I basically look for the Dr that will give me the results I seek, and then take it all from there. Too many women out there get "messed up" when the have no research or info behind them and they are just looking for the "cheapest job". In the end they pay "more" because they need to get the not so good BA redone and fixed by another good Dr. Just do your research...LOTS! Look, its your body, its a big, lifechanging permanent decision. I am always happy to pay..."within reason" of course too though. You shouldnt be robbed blind either. Consult with Drs, talk procedure and cost. Choose the best Dr for your case that will get the best results. As you seek, you may find they are all not too far off in cost. If theres a real cheap or real high price, id ask why such the deviation.
Yes, costs have gone up, its expensive. Drs really need to cover themselves now in this "Sue Me" happy world, so the final costs are pushed onto the consumer. I live here in Connecticut, I go to New York for my Dr. Maybe check in surrounding states as well. Id rather consider some travel and pay for the better work really. I go to NY, get the BA, and get driven home that evening. I pay for anesthesia, his own facility and work, OR costs, and implants. I did a LOT of research too though...that was of course many years later after my first botched cheap BA. The Dr was "board certified" but was doing this as a money maker. A lesson learned. Use all the info available to you. "interview" your Drs hard!!! Hey, YOU are the customer, its YOUR body!
UNDERS, WILL CAUSE DISTORTION, CAN I TRAIN? WILL THEY COMPROMISE MUSCLE? .... Hi! Dawn here. I am a professional bodybuilder as well as a nationally competing powerlifter. (i have a 405 bench press). I have had many BAs too. I never went unders though because of my implant size and peck thickness and mass. As far as the unders "compromising" muscle....shouldnt. Initial healing time is a tad longer, but all and all in the end, is all ok. All depends on what type of muscle and training you do too...general fitness, competative or pro athlete? Development of the muscle and how and what you train with weights and poundages is a factor.
I tell women not to train or work their pec muscles before a BA ... Is it necessary to let the pec muscles relax, allow any swelling from training and blood to leave as well prior to surgery. I DONT train upper body a week prior to BA. Training chest will give you a "pump" and fill the area more with blood, so Id keep it off that week and just focus on lower body. A few days before BA I do nothing, not even cardio. The surgery will be enough stress on the body. Allow it to rest a few days and go into the BA refreshed and feeling good.
Under placement of implant, the individual, how developed are the pecs? I train pretty hardcore. I have overs mainly because I have heavily developed muscles. I have many friends in the industry and all of us had our BA's done in all different ways....unders, overs, big, small, etc... It all depends on the individuals body.
Training AFTER a BA...Yes, unders will be more effected than overs and will definateley effect your lifting! You need to pace yourself after your BA. Start off lighter and as the weeks pass, increase the intensity. You will need to too! Your body takes MONTHS to FULLY heal from BA. Even though you "feel" awesome and can run a marathon or lift a ton... doing so too early may cause healing problems, suture tears, hematoms. If something hurts, causes pain or feels too weird, then dont do that movement. Lift "SMART" listen to your body!!! DONT push it too early.
Distortion with unders, again, all depends on what you are lifting or how you are training. I have seen a few gals with distortion...but they had "bad" BAs to start. Done correctly it will be fine. Make sure you discuss all your training with your Dr! Use your initial healing time to maybe focus on stretching or training other parts....something that would avoid the chest area. Yes, it feels really weird at first but as time progresses it will all be normal to you. At first its awkward like you have to get used to anything new. Always drink LOTS of fresh water, stay hydrated and flushed, a gallon a day. My diet is real strict too, I dont munch and eat junk when Im healing and have downtime. I take in LOTS of protein...more so when I am healing...I dont need the carbs so much then.
What i do is lift "SMART" listen to your body!!! DONT push it too early.Take some "downtime" and ease back "slowly!". Best luck!! Keep on training, you will be fine and back in the game in no time!!!_Lol, xxoo DAWN
PIERCINGS AND SURGERY, NEED TO TAKE OUT?....
Hello! Dawn here. Taking piercings out prior to surgery...I work in a tattoo and
piercing shop. I used to have 63 piercings and have had a BA done with them in.
Its up to the Dr really. Some dont mind, as long as they arent in the way. The
tongue may be a hassle with the anesthesiaologist. I had mine in, no biggie. I
have built or tattoo shop a website at....flatstattooing.com....As far as
surgeries, some say take em out...you worried about closing Im sure. A cool trick
you can do, works great!! Get small pieces of larger gauge "fishing line or nylon
wire". Cut a few small pieces and insert them into the piercings before your
surgery. This allows you to maintain the hole for the jewlery to go back in after
the surgery. You can also purchse small clear plastic, or lucite even flesh
colored to use. They are called retainers. Many tattoo shops have them as well as
many bodyjewlery shops...check On-Line too! Some peoples piercings close, some
dont. I had a tongue piercing for 6 years...took it out, and in 24 hrs was closed
solid! I heal fast and close piercings fast too. Some people can take them out
and put them back in months later easy!! I cant. Just use a retainer or nylon
line...you can get that at any hardware, large department, Walmart or sporting

PICTURE TIP.... Heres a cool tip; Collect as many pictures as you can. Find a person that is built similar to you and you like their "look" as far as their bust. Get pics from nudie mags, Regular mags, anywhere...collect LOTS of reference! This will give your Dr a hard visuall of whats in YOUR head...for instance: Pamela Anderson's look or Carmen Electra's look, no name people, a friend, whoever, or lots of pictures from a websites...take them to the PS so they can see what look you are trying to achieve...everybody's idea of a size i.e. c cup size, projection, fullness etc... is different. Your PS'idea of what size, placement, fill, and "look" you say you want may be completely different to him if hes trying to visualize without reference.
This will better help you get a rock solid "game plan " with your Dr. He will have some hard visuals, and he will know what he will have to do to get you to this "look" as far as type of implant, fill, placement, shape, etc...Just do all you homework! Get some visuals, and really get that down with your Dr as far as what exactly you will be doing...so there is no unsatisfied suprises later and you are totally happy with the results.
JUST HAD NEW BA, WHEN CAN I WORK OUT I CANT WAIT! AM I GETTING OUT OF SHAPE!? HELP!!.... Hello, Dawn here! Workouts, Cardio and Lifting...I HEAR ya loud and clear...me tooo, Im the same. I compete Pro Qualifying in Bodybuilding. I hold Powerlifting records as well (a 405 Bench Press). I train real hard core, 2-3 hrs a day. REALLY heavy stuff. Ive been through a few BA's too, (ha, ok, a bunch).
Your body takes MONTHS to FULLY heal from BA. Even though you "feel" awesome and can run a marathon, do hours of cardio or lift a ton... doing so too early may cause healing problems, suture tears, hematoms. Its all the individuals case, all depends on what and how you are training, go easy to start then build slowly on that and progress on. This INCLUDES cardio too! Raising your systolic blood pressure too early (like NOW) will add extra unwanted stress to new suture area not healed close yet.
As far as doing Cardio, id wait a couple weeks at least, even i do! When I start I start with a stationary bike. LOW Impact, EASSSYY stuff...take it EASY...hey, be happy to be able to do this! Ha! With returning to training, I would wear 2 jog bras, Ha...dont laugh, it works! I won road races with 800 cc running 5 minute miles. I was just REALLY careful! What you may need to look for is more of a "running and High Impact "Bra. They give awesome support. Some of the "general" or cross trainers give light or moderate support. Champion is AWESOME!!
As far as getting "out of shape" or fat now...wont happen. DONT let it! Because your not working out now and utilizing much MORE calories...you now in downtime need to stay stricter on your diet. Eating a GRAET diet now too high in protein is ESSENTIAL to excellent and faster healing! eat the veggis, LOTS of water and keep carbs lower...you dont need too many carbs now. Sitting and munching or powereating from boredom while you sit and heal will add a few poundolas to you!!! Take some time, relax...HEAL! you will be back in the game in no time at all!
Use your initial healing time to maybe focus on stretching or training and focusing on other parts. Cardio, maybe ride stationary bike instead of doing cardio that causes "jarring" motions. What I do is train "SMART" listen to your body!!! DONT push it too early. Believe me, i know. I did and having any additional surgery is a REAL set back. Do what FEELS comfortable..if something doesnt feel right or hurts then pass it by. Ijust worked "around" things. FINANCING, HELP!!!..... Hello! Dawn here. Theres LOTS of Finance options out there. First off, dont go to places that offer loans to people with "bad' credit...the percentage rates are insane! Look at the 2 top credit card companies..I have 2, one is Bank One, and the other is Capital One...one is fixed at 4% and the other at 7%! They are the top two now as far as "fixed" percentage rates...my own bank couldnt even beat them. I look for the "percentage rate" A Company that will DEFINATELEY give you the loan is MBNA America....they dela lots with loans in Cosmetic surgery...I used them when I first started with the BA's...years ago. They have higher rates too though...some as high as 18-21%!!!!!
If you get a Bank loan...you can tell then its for a "medical procedure"...you DONT need to tell them EXACTLY what. If a bank knows its for a "procedure" they are "usually" more apt to cutting that bank check to your Dr. Bank loans are still sometimes not even as low as these cards out there now....just research the piss out of it!! Theres some GREAT options out there...just gotta play it smart and business like. Ok...I have some mail I just got a week ago here on MBNA America. They are at P.O Box 15724, Wilmington, DE. 19850-5724.....telephone number, (try this one) toll free, 1-888-747-7277. Try ALL your options...even if you get some money from one, and some more money from others to combine the total you need. Paying this off too will help build credit as well....just look for the lowest percentage rate you can get!
RIPPLING, THIN SKIN, HELP!!... If you are thin, lean and have little breast tissure Pre BA...then rippling is common. I went through all that. There are problems with being thin (lean). Ive personally been through a LOT!!! I am exactly like you in a way. Im not a small or "thin" person per say. I compete at Pro Qualifying in Bodybuilding. Im not small, but I have EXTREEM low levels of bodyfat and virtually no real breast tissue when I started with my BA's I was FLAT! You didnt say what type you had or placement.
Placement of implants....Half my problems could have been avoided if I could have gone unders. But, because the size and Thickness of my chest (pec Muscles) there was no way. If you have thin plyable muscles....you could go unders...which really "pads" the rippling. I HAD to go overs...skin tears, bad rippling. Your skin alone will be the area to support the implant.
Fill of implants....As far as "type" of implant, I DONT go salines if I go overs. Rippling will be bad. Fat and breast tissue will hide ripples, but if you are that lean then they tend to really show bad. Theres nothing there to pad or buffer between your skin and the implant. Because of these conditions, I have overs and silicones. because you are thin, you are open to get the silicones. Really study up on all this. If I opted for a saline...it was with a large percentage of "overfill"..this will give you a diferent "look" too though. I like it, but many dont. Its a faker, rounder pamela Anderson like look.
You sound like a perfect candidate for Silicone to rid rippling, thats up to you and your DR to decide, all personal preference...placement too...but..he REALLY should take in consideration that you are thin and no real breast tissue to start...it makes a huge difference! As far as the ripples "improving" with what you have now....as swelling continues to lessen and things "fluff" or settle in (which takes a full 6-8 months) you may see some more or it will stay as is. It doesnt go away. As the healing continues, you loose the "swelling" in that area, which helped to "pad" the ripples. You may notice it more once healed.
Your dr shold have addressed this with your "bodytype" BEFORE your augmentation Procedure...with what "could happen". Get a rock solid "game plan" down...get it all in STONE BEFORE any procedure is done!! Theres No unhappiness or bad suprises later then. The final choice of BA is up to you and your DR to decide, all personal preference...placement too... but..he REALLY should take in consideration that you are thin and no real breast tissue to start...it makes a WORLD of difference!
2ND QUESSING... Hello. Dawn here. Man, I really never 2nd quessed. If you REALLY want to do this, then do it. Yes, there are normal concerns and worries...but 2nd guessing? Do you REALLY want this? If not, you may not be ready. If you have all your ducks in a row and you really WANT to do this, then youlll do what you need to do to achieve the goal, if youre still "waffling" over the decision, you may not be ready. Why you doing this? for yourself? A guy? Friends? Just pressure as far as what the "perfect' body "should' be? Are you happy with yourself now....or will you be happier with augmentation? I knew I was dead on, I was getting augmented come hell or high water...I was doing it 100% for myself too...no one else. So, I did have nerves and concerns..no 2nd guesses though. EXPANDERS, UPSIZING IN LARGE AMOUNTS, STRETCHING THE SKIN...... Hello! Dawn here. Aaahhh, stretched skin.I kinda lived it. I compete in bodybuilding (Pro contendar), Im 5 ft 5 inches and weigh 170 now, so Im big. I stay wild lean too, so I have a wide back, chest and shoulder area and a small waist. When I started with BA's (many years ago) I was FLAT! I mean a double AA flat too. My first set of implants were 310 cc's...looked aweful. I later upsized. I have very tight lean skin and no breast tissue. I eventually went all the way to 3000 (yes, three thousand EACH)..Bad move. Im down to a 1200 and very happy. They fit me and my structure very well.
I have gone overs. Because the size and Thickness of my chest (pec Muscles) there was no way. I have a 400 pound bench press. As far as larger implants too, the unders wont really accommadate them, as far as huge "custom sizes" Theres not enough muscle to 'cover" the full area. How I got that big...Expanders. You get an expandable implant that can be expanded and filled slowly. Thers a couple ways to do this (ive done both)...ONE: I once had the temporary expanders. These are filled gradually to desired amount, then replaced with the final permanent set....SECOND: the permanent expander...you get filled 'gradually" over time. The valve/fill port is closed off, then youre done. Theres a lot to all this, you need to research it all. Nicole had some info in her FAQ about expanders in her site.

A word of advice though...the more you redo...the more you increase your risks of problems and complications too! Believe me, Ive done this A LOT! Really decide what you REALLY want and dont get bunches of redos. Get a rock solid game plan down.
Its like russisan rulette, you eventually will have to deal with "something" the more you raise the bar to do the re dos risks increase ...so, just be sure of EXACTLY what you want! The expanders made it easy. It allowed my skin to accomadate. It never slowed me down, skin was cool, and healing was a snap. I didnt try to stuff something too big in before my skin was fully ready to. This can also be costly, it will take another procedure. if I were you, Id opt for the permant expanders...itsll make the jump for you and all the transitions in between in one procedure, as well as some multiple "fill-ups". INCISION SITES, WHICH IS BEST?... Incision site..all really depends on the individual. A lot is factored in...size of implants for one. Mine are so large I had to go in the crease. You need to look at placement too. Your physical build and procedure will help determine. If you are not going big...then you have some options. All I can say is research it. As far as healing and if its an easier procedure one way or another...all individual. As far as healing, it takes 6-8 months to FULLY heal from the procedure...so, yes, no matter where you place the implants or incisions. Your body will definateley continually change, tighten up, swelling goes, sutures heal and the breasts "settle in"...it takes months. Jusst got to allow the time for the tissue to heal.
Some have other inscision site...under arm or the TransAx Incision. As far as the Nipple site, some PS see it as a higher risk of loss of nipple sensation and function as a possibility. I used the crease myself, more so due to my build and implant size. I also did so becasue when I had to reopen that incision to Re-do to go larger, I was easily able to. Ive done it "multiple times" and they all healed great! I find the crease hides well too. You REALLY need to look under hard to see it.
As far as your Dr, yes, the crease is the easiest...but that may be for him...a different Dr may see another way easier. Bottom line..your opinion looks like. Just do lots of research, ask lots of questions and cover ALL your bases before you get the BA. Just do all you homework, ather Opinions and Info! Really get that down with your Dr as far as what exactly you will be doing...so there is no unsatisfied suprises later and you are totally satisfied with the results.
BIGGER IMPLANTS, CAUSE PROBLEMS?..... Hello! Dawn here. Larger Implants problems later...all depends on a couple things...your own body, how it handles and accomodates the implants. And, what is "large" is all individual. What may seem big to a petite woman will seem small to a larger framed and structured woman. Ive run the full range...was a FLAT AA when I started and years later eventually went to a 3000 cc implant. Those caused problems. (I was in a dumb insanity phase then.) Now Im at 1200 cc...thay fit me fine. Im a 170 Lb Competitive bodybuilder. So, its all individual. Anything in "excess" has its "costs" to get there. And mannn, I can tell ya!
Will your skin stretch, is it thin, will your "structure" accomodate the extra size...consider all this and tell your DR all your concerns as well! Really get his input! Going bigger is fine...doing it safe, sane and healthy is another. Learn from the few of us that made the mistake and went too wild...bigger isnt Bad, or "problemed"..EXCESSIVE is though.
If you can only accomadate a 300 cc implants....then theres no way to jump to a 700 or 800 cc....just cant. You "can safeley" by "preparing the body". I used whats called "expanders" The expanders allow you to fill gradually instead of making a huge jump up and not allowing skin to stretch. You need expander like implants, the skin will be stretched slowly over time. As you fill them, you do it in his office...yes, just like a car tire. You may not need to go expanders....all depends on the "jump" in size you will make. As far as what you are doing...youre looking at MUCH smaller sizes as well as comparing 2 sizes that are VERY close...so realistically...no biggie. Going from 300cc to 400 cc is really nothing at all. Also keep in mind that not only a different implant may have problems or not...but also consider the fact of more procedures too!

Pushing the body to the limit and going crazy in trying to accoodate a size too big is not a good choice...but you can get a bigger size that will "fit" you fine and all will be well!
OVERFILLS, RIPPLING... Hi! Dawn here. When I had salines an overfill made a WORLD of difference! Fat and breast tissue will hide ripples, but if you are that lean then they tend to really show bad. Theres nothing there to pad or bufer between your skin and the implant. Im very lean and I was a flat AA when I started so I had no real breast tissue either. Im all Implant. So saline with a regulat fill looked bad on me. I have overs, I cant go unders , one because my implants are too big and , two, because I compete in bodybuilding nationally, my pecs are way too thick for unders.
Yes, an overfill helps, but you may also look at placement. Going under will help a lot. if you are like me though or personally choose for overs, then an overfill helps. If you opt for a saline with an overfill, it will be a faker, firmer and rounder look. I love that look myself, but if you dont, then you may not like this option.
Discuss with your Dr ALL your options and concerns with RIPPLING...wanting to go overs, unders, saline, silicones, etc..... You said you are concerned with rippling, you may be open to silicones and can get them through the adjunct study. I was a flat chested double AA when I started with my first BA, 310 was the biggest I could get my skin to accomodate. Because of little tissue or fat to cover rippling problems are a definate concern! Salines ripples BAD for me...weather I had 310 ccc or 800 ccs...all the same. so No, size doesnt matter. If you go salines, I went with an overfill, you may need to. Changing sizes was no difference...an overfill though made the "world" of difference!
ATHLETIC BODYS AND THE BREAST AUGMENTATION... Hi Back at ya from DAWN. I see what hes saying..but Drs may do the surgery but dont really fully understand real training, or athletics and full athletic Builds. Look, there are so mmaannyyy bodybuilders, fitness and figure gals outthere that have BA's and train chest too. No probleams. Really, its all up to the individual. I have always trained hardcore and heavy, BA or not. I would think that high impact cardio (running and cardio) are so much more "abusive" on implants. Really, when I bench, I use my pecs (chest muscles) not my implants.Id think movements like wide flies or hanging pullups, jumping and running would be more stressful.
I really think that this aspect of implants needs to be addresed. I mean like the athlete and what "type" of exersize will effect implant more or less from Powelifting bench pressing to a hard Multi Mile Run. DR DIDNT DO WHAT I REQUESTED AT PREOP! WHAT CAN I DO NOW???... Hi, Im Dawn. What has happend to you is outstandingly BAD, what the heck is THAT all about...The Dr didnt do what you had requested...Id loose it if it were me. In your case, sounds like all "word of mouth" as far as what he was "supposed' to do. In Pre op...before you get ANYTHING done, all kinds of paperwork should be seen and signed...by 'you and your Dr". I always went through this, its all paperwork on EXACTLY what he will be doing, type of implant, implant warranty, size and ALL details of entire procedure...even placement, medication, sutures, ALL that! This way, ALL bases are covered, ALL on paper...written in stone. This way if something like what you happend you could have FULL legal recourse. In your particular situation though, is there any paper trail, documentation, proof? if not, its his word against yours. I understand your husband was there...but you really need to have "paperwork". You need paperwork especially just to have the "warranty" and all that registration of them covered with the implant manufacturer. What make did he use? They should have stock numbers and paperwork...you need to request them. if he cant come up with the materials...than damn, I dont know what the heck he used. If something were to happen with an implant...the manufacturer covers replacement...they did with me. ANY time you EVER have ANY procedure of ANY KIND....get tons of paperwork, info and signatures!
As far as your options now...Id say first, request the paperwork on the Prop, you should have a "file", if its written in there HP, and you didnt get them, then you have something. Also, you want that paperwork on the info and numbers on the implants you have in now too. You need to register them to cover warranty. See how it goes from there. Just be "professional, and businesslike". Dont freak or loose it...be stern and take the bull by the horns girl and be ALL business. If you are really having problems, maybe a legal recourse....but, in the end all, this is why these DRs are so heavily insured. It may cost you MORE to arrack him legally than to just get the darn things redone. Weigh out all your options and costs. Best of luck. Take care!_LOL, DAWN
INSURANCE AND COVERAGE.... Yes, Insurance will cover "complications" due to a BA....but will NOT cover initial ELECTIVE or Cosmetic surgeries. I personally have had GREAT luck with my insurance. If you have great Insurnce...best bet that if you need to cover something like (capsular Constriction)..they will. All depends on your insurance, as well as other things too. best things, contact your Insurance company DIRECT yourself and ask!! talk to them!! i did. i WORKED IT HARD!!! Damn, I have insurance for a reason and I NEEDED it!
All depends on your Dr too. Some ofice staff is cool, and will "help" you "push it through" insurance. Its all the same...the Dr doing the Surgery just needs to get paid, they dont care from whom...they just want to get paid...bottom line. My Dr Office staff is cool and amazing. Ive also done leg work too, and we put our heds together to 'work things out" with the insurance. Look, the money is out there...be aggressive!! Im a Freak with aggressive Info hunting! Do the checking, calling and legwork. Keep in touch with your Dr, WORK with em, like a team. Most the time, in the end, all is well, and the Dr gets paid VERY well to FIX the problem.
Its all in the insurance, your coverage, how your Dr presents it. Drs have the RIGHT to CHARGE YOU. YOU selected an ELECTIVE surgery and the risks involved too. Its really legally pretty much your dime. Drs have the right. They REALLY cover their "tushies"! If you have a cool Dr and Staff though they may "work" with you. In the end I maybe paid a small OR, or Anesthesia fee....cant complain, better than paying the FULL amount in the end! If your Dr office wont try, then YOU do it! Contact your insurance company and TALK it up girl!! CANT hurt to simply ask! Again, all depends on your insurance, coverage, Dr, circumstances and problem.
In my case, because I needed so many procedures, the insurance will only cover so much per year at so many months apart....rules and guidelines they have. Like, if I got CC in the right and got fixed and covered, the maybe doing the same thing for the left, id need to wait 6 months to fix to get "recovered". I have Blue Cross Blue Shield. Ive had my HUGE share of probelms....got all fixed though.
As far as calling your Insurance Company and fearing they will laugh or react funny...Geeze, F*** THAT! Damn girl, get AGGRESSIVE!! Its out there, you PAY for it, so ASK!!! WARRANTIES ON IMPLANTS, DO THEY COVER? SHOULD I PURCHASE?? ... Hello! DAWN Here. ooohh YEESsiireeee! I used it, a few times, and they covered too! As far as "buying" it? WHAT? This comes WITH the implants. If you need another procedure you may need to cover a few minimal fees, OR, Anesthesia etc...My Dr NEVER charged me for the actual Implant Warranty, its all part of everything, and the product he uses. I have signed all the papers when I get them, and this ALL is included. Mentor has always come through too and covered, no hassle at all!! As far as 'buying" warranty, sounds "weird" to me, what the heck! Call mentor, and ask the DIRECTLY yourself regarding the warranty. Nicoles site here will have a link to their site. Do the research. You really shouldnt be charged for it....it COMES WITH their product. Id theres a Dr out there trying to make a buck on any "fears" you may have, then thats NOT right at all!! Maybe Drs build thatfactor into their FINAL costs with the initial surgery? ONE FEELS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER, NORMAL?..... Hi! dawn here! Im the same, but I have overs. Mine have different "feels" too. Even though you have 2 boobs, they are not identicle mirror images of each other. They each heal in their own way at diferent rates. You had your BA in August? You are really still healing, ittakes months really to all settle out. Realistically 6-8 months. Thisis why you cant re do the procedure for 6-8 months till your first procedure heals. yes, you may alway have different feels from left to right. The actual underlying muscle structure of your body is different from left to right. No one is truly symmetrical. (I compete in bodybuilding so I deal with this constantly) The BEST we hope for is as close as we can get it. How do yours "look?" they may "feel" of but "look" awesome. This is common. If you are concerned , talk to your PS too. The placement is a factor too. One may be healing at a faster rate than the other. As long as mine look as close as they can, Im cool. WORKOUTS, EXERSIZE BEFORE SURGERY, STOP?..... I have competed, never turned pro. Compteted in powerlifting and benching too. I stopped uper body training 5 days out from surgery...this way I didnt have any "pump" or extra blood in that area that may cause more bleeding during surgery. Up to the day training I dont reccomend. Stopping does help. You dont need the body trying to heala procedure "and" muscle sorness at the same time. Muscle soreness is there because the training will cause muscle breakdown and minute damage. You may feel "pumped or sore" the day after training a part. More blood is in that area now healing and rebuilding that area. Give that area a break... allow it to focus on the procedure that you will get. Believe me, I know, been there. You can pick back up with training after you heal. I looked at this like this..I can train upper body, so Ill focus on the lower while the upper heals. Just refocus a small while. Take care! BACK TO CARDIO.... Hello! I was the same wanting to get right back to cardio. But everyone is different, I went by "Feel" if it didnt feel right, i dont do it. When I first came back I did low impact too, like more lifecycle. No running or jumping that will cause bouncing and excess strain on the sutured areas trying to heal. Kep in mind, even though you feel like you can jump right back in, the body is still healing and it does take time. Get back "in the game" but do it wiseley. I tried to too early once and almost caused a problem, no fun. At first I even wear 2 sports tops...its tight, but holds them puppies like concrete! ha! Eventually, you can shed a sports bra and things feel easier. I just kept a close eye on things. Dont go too crazy to start, the body is still trying to heal, add it back in a little at a time. I found when I have surgery, downtime, I eat my cleanest. I dont eat any junk at all, this way I maintain my leaness in downtimes because Im unable to train at a competitive level volume. Youll jump back in soon enough, you have only one shot to let it heal right, be careful and patient. use the brains and dont be like me and train like a maniac. ha. take care!_Lol, dawn
CREDIT REPORTS, AND LOANS.... Ive done it all, had a bunch of BA's. As far as credit and loans, the better it is the better chance you have. My advice get a bank loan, tell them its for "elective surgery" Most all the time it will be approved and your bank will cut a Bank Check for your Dr right there. Make sure your Dept to income ratios look good. Sometimes having a co-signer helps....drawback, this legally ties him topay off the loan if you cant. A bank can get you the BEST rate. I once went with those companies that will give loans for procedures like MBNA.....and MAN..you get the money but a hard bone on the interest rate usually they are 17-22%. How much you need to finance? Even opening a new credit account with fixed rates works, 2 of the good ones are capital one and bank one. Really research it, I have. ha! You can ferret it out. Credit reports, let you bank run it, wait a week or so for processing. Try different banks too. My bank was awesome, they all have different rates and different payment plans too. Since you are married like me, if he signs too, they will serach credit reports under BOTH names. The combined incomes will help though. If you do it with just your name, you need to stand alone with your salary..the cards, if the werent in your name and you didnt co sigh, will not matter. Give BOTH ways a try...tell the bank you want to tery to get it alone, if it works, cool. If not have your Husband co sign on the loan. Collaterall helps LOTS! You just need to try some different brands on, different cuts, styles and makes. Find the best one...then buy a bunch! Ha! I did. Find one that you can train widly in and not even think about the boobs. Saucony was a good brand for me too.

ATHLETICS, OVERS OR UNDERS?...... Hello! Dawn here. I hae had a "bunch" of BAs... I compete in bodybuilding as well as powerlifting and can run a 5 minute mile. I was aiming at turning pro at one time. Im pretty hardcore. I have overs...all really depends on your build really. Because I compete in Bodybuilding as well as powerlifting I have heavily developed muscles. I have many friends in the industry and all of us had our BA's done in all different ways. All depends on the implants, like I have larger ones, so unders did not work for me. Athletes are thicker muscled too..but it also depends on the sport too. Like a Tennis player, or Track person may not be developed like a bodybuilder. It all depends on the individuals body, sport, implant choice and final "look" you seek. In the "average" woman the pecs are a thinner layer. In a developed athlete even up to a competition level, the pecs are so much thicker. Thicker pecs are less "plyable" and will push down that much more on the implant if unders are used. Again....its all the individuals case, all depends on what you are seeking..you do what you need to do to get the result of the "look" you want. Also, talk to your PS about your athletics as well! RUNNING...... Hello! Dawn here. Running, it can be "jarring" Its pretty much up to the "individual"...some can get out faster than others. Take it slow at first then build up. Get a "fee"..if something is painful, Back off. I have cool suggestion...something I did worked awesome. I would wear 2 sports bras! Works awesome and holds them puppies "DOWN!". Keep your PS posted too! Get the Dr's opinion. Its all really individual, we all heal at such different rates. Yes, I hate to be told to stay still too...but you have your whole life to run..and but one chance to heal this right. So, first things first. Take the downtime and work on maybe some weights ar abs...do some different stuff...mix it up a bit. As far as weight gain, because your not running now and utilizing less calories...you need to stay stricter on your diet now. Sitting and munching while you sit and heal will add a few to you. Take some time, relax...you will be back in the game in no time at all!

CC CONSTRICTION..... I have had cc too. Ive had all kinds from Saline to Silicone to a Double Lumen....as well as every size from 310 cc to 3000 cc...I have had MANY BA's, Replacements or Fixes, LOTS. Theres no Rhyme or reason why it happens. It can happen early in the healing stages or even much later...on ANY kind or size of implant. It all comes down to the "individual's" body and how it deals with healing as well as foreighn objects in the body. They havent figured it out yet. Some women need additional surgeries to fix, I had to once. I was lucky enough not to recently though. If you catch it "early" you can "break up" that surrounding scar tissue that is squeezing the implant with massage and manipulation. My Dr broke one up for me and I didnt need to undergo a surgery. It hurts like a bear but he can put pressure on the implant and almost "squeeze' it, basically "popping" and breaking open that capsule.
I pretty much stay on top of it and do it ALL to combat it...everything from take Accolate (the perscription drug for asthma) to taking Extra vitamin E and Ibuphrophen as well. I also did massage and lied on my stomach when I could. "manual" squeezing of implant by Dr to break up CC. I pretty much did a big combination of stuff. It all worked VERY well. All the movement as well as the aggressive medications seemed to help me. All and all though, nothing we can do even switching the implant size, shape, placement, type fill or ANYTHING makes us any "Guarantees".
As far as an addition "procedure" to fix it. My insurance company covered most the costs. Ihave great Insurance. Contact yours, cant hurt to ask! Insurance will NOT cover an elective procedure like a BA, but will or may cover to "complications" do to BA. A CC is one that certainly is. Even if you get most covered, then you may need to just pay your Dr an additional small fee for OR, Anesthesia or something. They wont fix the "good one" they will just do the one. Ive had it done. No biggie, a redo is certainly MUCH easier! Its just a simple swap, they remove the capsule or any scar tissue. They may sway for a new implant or even just simply remove the scar tissue alone! its all up to your Dr.

ARE REDOS EASIER?...... Aaahh, you'll be fine...GO for it GIRL!!! Do it, it all goes sssoo much easier! Believe me, I live it, Ha. I wouldnt have re-done as much as I did if it was all like the first time. A word of advice though.. the more you redo..the more you increase your risks of problems and complications too! Believe me, Ive done this A LOT! If you are looking for a change, cool..but make sure its what YOU "really" want. As you go into more procedures in that area, you raise the bar of "risks". Like your Dr said, the pockets are already there....THATS more than half the battle...so there wil be les "work" actually done in that area, maybe a small revision here and there...a snap! Pain and Healing time, its all individual..some dont handle surgeries as well, some do. The first is always the worst. The ones after are easy...you know exactly what to expect, how it feels, how to react to things, when to get back to normal movement and all. The first one is like driving in the dark, Ha. The following ones, you kinda "know" what to expect and how it all goes. In true reality though, it takes the same amount of time as the first as far as the human body and actual real heal time (6-8 months)....you just "feel' a lot better. Yes, drop and fluff again...basically it will go through the same entire process...just easier, smoother going and a LOT more tolerable....loke LLLOOTTSS more easy. Since you may need less "work" done...you may heal faster as well!!
Yes though to answer your Question, the more I re-did, it gets sooooo easy, Im in and out, it never slowed me down, and healing was a snap... it all gets better and seems to move faster. LITTLE BREAST TISSUE.... Im the one, no tissue at all, Ha. Lived through it all. Your Dr may be right with wanting to go overs. You said because you have little breast tissue. It all also depends on the final "look" you want. What size implant? I was a flat chested double AA when started, 310 was the biggest I could get my skin to accomodate. Expanders are an option... implants that can expand withe "multiple fill-ups" until you get the desired look you seek, then the ports are removed when done.
Because I have little tissue you need to look at the same problems I lived through, rippling problems healing. Your Dr may go under to avoid all this. You may have silicone as an option. Salines ripples BAD for me. If you go salines, I went with an overfill...that will give you a faker rounder look too though.
It all really depends on the final look you seek. You need to look at placement as well as shape, profile and fill of implant. I cut out pics of women in magazines to show my Dr what I was striving for, this may help you too. Theres a lot of options out there. I wish when I was first doing this all MANY years ago...all the info, help and support on the net exhisted! Ive learned it all from tried experiences.
Im an athlete and am real lean with no breast tissue. Thers a look you seek, you can get it....its just the game plan you and your Dr choose to ge there. ASSYMETRY...... Hello. Dawn here. You are still ssooo early in the healing process stages...so you will see more changes...it takes months...give it a chance, they will even out. BOTH breasts are never mirror images of one another. Even though we have 2 breasts they are still 2 seperate entities and parts and will heal at their own rates. You may find one tighter, one maybe more swollen. In time they tend to "meet up" in the end. As far as eveness, me too. Its just your body's build too though. Nothing on your body is perfectly symmetrical from side to side. It may never be dead on perfect, maybe something only "you" will ever notice...but "almost perfect" is always cool.
I have had more than a few BAs, usually its the same. Its the right for me too thats can be "tighter". Im right handed too (i dont know if that makes a difference though really). You mentioned CC...I get that too...but at this stage...you are still so "new". Are you doing massage and stuff? I wouldnt be concerned about that at this point in your post op. You are still so new theres still swelling and stuff thats coming down and you will "settle" over the next weeks/months. Just keep "on top" of it, and be patient too though. Ive been through it all...I know. My right heals slower its stubbborn. My right stays high, my left, likes to heal faster and drop. In the end with time they kind of meet up. They just do it at their own rates I guess. ha!....minds of their own. Its takes 6-8 months to FULLY heal from the procedure...so, yes, you will see more changes down the road. Your body will definateley continually change, tighten up, swelling goes, sutures heal and the breasts "even out" over the next weeks and months.
As healing time progresses, and later on down the road If you feel assymetrical, you may want to consult your PS. Its always best with anything you are unsure of. One time my left was tighter, ended up being beginning of CC (capsular constriction) we caught it early, and was able to loosen without surgery. I am like you, very intune with my body... and notice little things. Anything caught EARLY is easy to deal with..so feel COMFORTABLE to consult with your Dr...THAT is why you paid the bucks girl...its ok, use it. My first BA was my hardest though....its all so new, not knowing what to expect or feel. Redos are so much easier, because you lived it all already and know exactly what to expect. The first BA, it was like I had 2 "things" weighted and strapped to my chest. I was uncomfortable, it was tight, itchy and hard to breathe almost, Ha. Its all cool, its "normal" to feel all this. As far as time and how long you may "feel" weird and heavy, its just time. We are all different, its really individual. Maybe in a couple weeks, maybe a month. Though, if you have been taking direction from a certain Dr, id still follow his "rules". I FULLY see what hes trying to do. The bra will apply pressure, which may be constricting and may reduce blood flow which equals slower and harder healing. I completely see his point. Maybe take the BEST of BOTH worlds though....Id weara nice fitting kinda snug yet "comphy" real strethy supportive bra. Dont wear anything hardcore harsh and constricting. Id wear soemthing though! I aggree, circulation is utmost important...But I ALSO agree that support on the new suture area for a couple months after the BA is important as well! As far as cost, I dont really "price shop"...sometimes you get what you pay for. I basically look for the Dr that will give me the results I seek, and then take it all from there. Too many women out there get "messed up" when the have no research or info behind them and they are just looking for the "cheapest job".
Yes, costs have gone up, so had gas and movies. Drs really need to cover themselves now in this "Sue Me" happy world, so the final costs are pushed onto the consumer. Kinda is a bummer. Make over shows, I dont know... I really think its more "legal" oriented as far as their Insurances. You may be seekinG future work..I may be too....eventually... but cost goes up as the market does too. Id rather pay for the better work really.
Be careful though...train smart too! It takes me a few weeks to get back to heavy benching I usually train with...I increase intensity as I go. But I also dont try to max out for a while. My max is 405, Ill saty at 150-185 for the first couple weeks, then move on to 225 after a month or so, then us as time goes. Again, its all up to the individual. Some advance faster than others as far as healing time. My big problem is not going too nutts out of the gate. Did that in the past, and learned a hard lesson...even though you "feel" great, it still takes time for the body to heal!!..dont push too hard too fast. You will get back on track soon enough!
Take the down time as a plus..work on your diet, train abs or cales...work around the area...make it a good time to work on weak points! As far as running, I still did, even did a road race wearing 2 jog bras (I did it on a bet and still won the overall! Ha!!) Work on that diet! Its a cool time, eat great and allow that body that great nutrition to heal!!
I train hard, I have been in competition for many years...I just work around things and train smart...refocus for a short time while I heal and get a lot of stuff done. So dont worry, you will be kickin butt in no time!! Get back into it all slow like, and just build and increase as time passes. Best of luck, Train hard and smart!!
Ok, you will really change for months. Even if you had to redo something, Like have another procedure, you need to wait months anyways....about 6 months. They need all the tissue to heal...so it does take a while, its not an overnight thing. In the meantime, keep taking notes...I have even taken digital pics, and have e mailed to my PS...the pictures are helpful to your PS as as for you for cataloging any problems you may have as well. Keep records and notes. But really, dont get freaked, the body needs time to heal...all that inside stuff. You may feel great but the body is still healing all that minute stuff. Bust minus Band In Inches = estimated Cup Size
NOTE: This is only a starting point for fitting.
Your
Fitting Consultant will start with this guess and try on different
sizes according to the results of the initial fit.
Example 1: Band measurement = 37 to 38 inches
Bust Measurement
= 45 inches
The starting Bra size to try is a 36GG or a
38G
For example: a D is about equivelant to a G, a DD is equivelant to an H, while a DDD is equivelant to a I. So a 38D is equivelant to a 38G.
How much overflow is there in the cup? Add 1/2 cup for each little overflow.
Mark this calculated cup on your cup computer with the band size of the current bra.
Then take the actual Rib Cage Measurement to calculate what the
band size will be. Then, Using the cup computer, go to the actual
band measurement and select a new cup size from the "same
column" as calculated above.
Using the analysis of fit of the current bra in the cup as well as
the band, and the band measurement, the starting bra size may be determined.
Example 2:
Using the Cup Computer, underline the row of the band size of the
current bra. Then add three cup sizes to the cup of your current bra.
Circle the resulting cup size. A 38D would be equivelant to a 38G or a
42DDD(F) store size bra would equate to a 42I on the cup
computer. OR for a 42K in the store sized bra - The 42K
would equate to the 34M.
This equivelant cup size from
the cup computer, with the measured band size, would be the size to
begin the fitting process.
To determine the range of bras which may be needed to use in the
fitting process, using the measurements:
Band measurement= 33 inches
The band would be either 32 or 34
Bust Measurement = 52 inches
The Difference between the bust and
the band measurement is =17 to 18 inches An 18 inch difference
is equivelant to a cup size of LL to N
So the other Bra sizes you may have to try: 32L to 32N, 34L to
34M
You can also try Maternity Stores, you will find big sizes there! I was getting 36 H there! There are a bunch of others too, just check them out! Anyway, best of luck shopping!

CUSTOM Implants, My Implants, Details
On November 7th, 2000-
BEFORE I had my final set, I had BEFORE November 7th 2000 -What
I was in search of and why...PREVIOUSLY: I had in 800cc
Silicone Implants, Brand: Mentor, Cat #: 354-8007, Lot #: 158859,
Style 7000 Round. They were fabulous, but I seeked larger Implants
sized over 800cc, because of my build 800 looks "normal" on me, I
wanted to be "extreemly" busty.) What I
was looking for was custom sizes 2000cc Implants, looking for
something as big as I am able to accomodate. My implants are over the
muscle (because of my lean muscular build.) I have been switched to a
custom Implant, made here in the US, Its a type of "expander". You can
see them in their website! You just need to have them custom sized and
made...I like the BIG round
look...I like that. Some may not, but I do! Ok..some more
details...
What I had to get up to size is what you call "expanders" they are
made by one of the top breast implant manufacturers. You can access
their website. You will see all their info, on all different types and
sizes. Ok, I have expanders because you cant put a huge thing, in a
smal place, so we "slowly" stretch the area to accomodate. To be
blunt, its kinda like blowing up a beachball, I went in every other
week for "fill-ups!" I had them overfilled, that means that I had them
over inflated some. This pretty much pulls any wrinkling out. See,
because Im so lean, that means that you will see more ripples, or
wrinkles in the implants. Anyone that has that problem, ask for an
overfill, or even to have silicone implants.
I had a
custom set, of 3000 cc, silicone, custom made implants. Bustwise
Size...Jacket size a 48, Brasize a 36...Mid_Alphabet. Since then, I came a
little back down in size, still big, but not 3000 cc's, ha! Its a lot of
work girls, and remember, I had them switched out to Beckers finally, which are LEGAL
and your doctor an do them! Remember, the custom implants are not so legal, and most doctors will
not do them. I am legal now, at about 1200 cc becker Implant, available here in the USA
(see to the left
column on the specs on my Large implants, or just read the info below as well.)
Dr.jacobs did the Beckers for me. Before I had
these Beckers heres the story of how I went up
to a 3000 cc implant...its all me...here is the story girls....

did. This is the best advice I can give...if you want it, then persue
it.

exactly what you want as far as size. I am an HONEST, normal, hard
working person, and will ONLY deal with SERIOUS questions ONLY!! You may

obtain the large sizes...I can. Many DOCTORS will not. Like I said,
anything over LEGAL cc's in the US is a problem. Ive been through a lot,
MY DOCTOR will NOT get you implants!! In the US Its ILLEGAL for a PS to to
use large custom implants in you, even if you supply
them! The doctors can not supply them for you! Its HIGHLY
EXPENSIVE. Some doctors may not
want to work with big legal sizes sizes...the risks and problems involved most would
rather avoid. Why the hassles... its a legal, red tape,
FDA Medical Regulations, restrictions and liscencing thing...your doctor doesnt
want to get in hot water or loose his medical liscence.
MY PERSONAL DOCTOR... CAN HELP YOU WITH THE LEGAL IMPLANTS! Now, up to speed and current look... Like I said...I am legal now, Here are the following specs for my Mentor Smooth Round 1200 cc MAX Becker Expander, Implant (25% silicone gel in outer lumen, 75% saline in innner lumen) These Beckers Double Lumen Expander Implants have been PULLED by the FDA, so if you dont have them already, you will be NO LONGER ABLE TO FET THEM here in the United Stares. Silicone Breast Implants - Who qualifies?
By governmental dictum, breast augmentation patients are eligible for
only saline implants. Silicone implants at this time are available
only for patients who meet the following criteria. Inclusion

The person should also be female, at least eighteen years of age, and
willing to participate in the study.
Keep in mind that women who wish to have silicone for purely
cosmetic reasons, whether they fit the above criteria or not, may be
able to have silicone if they agree to be part of a current silicone
study. You need to use a participating surgeon and agree to be
followed in the trial for a number or years.
Rippling - Is visible wrinkling a problem with saline
implants?
It is in the nature of saline inflatable implants to have wrinkling of
the shell. This is because the shell needs to be thick and strong
enough to last as long as possible, and because the saline (salt
water) fill shifts with changes in body position. The rippling is most
objectionable when it is visible at the top of the breast. For that
reason, placing implants beneath the large pectoral muscle can be
particularly advantageous with saline implants. The thickness of the
muscle obscures whatever wrinkling there might be, in the same way
that a thick carpet will hide uneven floor boards.
The other thing that the surgeon can do to minimize wrinkling is to
always fill the implant more than the minimum specified by the
manufacture, while not exceeding the maximum Ð in other words, filling
to a Òhappy medium.Ó
Finally, for some women who are really not suitable candidates for
saline implants, the FDA does permit the use of silicone gel implants.
While this is not frequently the case, silicone gel implants are a
viable solution to the rippling problem in appropriate cases.

There are different sizes, and shapes. you need to get will give you the look that YOU want to achieve! Dont ask a hundred people what looks right, or opinions. Shoot, they are YOUR boobs, you gotta wear em, so do it for YOU!!!! Thats what I did! I wanted to high profile, big rounded, fake type look. Hey, I love em! But if you are looking for moderate and very natural, that can be done too! You can get them done locally, or travel. Whatever you decide. I traveled out of state to The Doctor in the city. I wanted THE MAN to do my job! Travel was fine, no biggie. Right after the surgery, I just jumped right in my car, and my husband drove me home, stopped on the way home for dinner! I felt AWESOME!! I had no problems, no nautiousness, nothing. It was great! So, Plesae decide on your Dr for what you want done, NOT location. Hey, you gotta wear em, so dont settle!! The same for price, if your decision is based on price, DONT DO IT!! My first boob job many years ago was based on price, location, and lack of information...and it was a mess! This doctor did a real horrible job, and let me tell you, to this day, pisses me off! I will not mention any names, I have a high moral standard. I have given you GREAT info and doctors below, and grea resource link. Theres a lot of information to research out there. Make a smart decision. Go through all the info... PLEASE, use it!!!
...when I was researching it all, I had been trying to decided, not to, or to go out of the us, I was having problems with all that, with the legal stuff and what nots. I wanted the special sizes, thought I needed to leave the US, but... But...GREAT NEWS! Right here in the US the custom expanders are available! How to
go about it all...What and Where...
Ok, lets start with a little background here. There is certain types
and sizes available in the U.S. You need to put in a lot of research,
as far as travel, Europe, stay in the US or out, contacting doctors
and people etc...when you are looking for something, you can pretty
much find it as long as it exsists. You can stay in the US, or maybe
travel, you decide. Its all personal preference. If you travel, Europe
is Better than Mexico!
Breast
Implants the European Vacation-OR stay in the USA? Finding a Doctor...
I had researched The whole traveling to Europe thing, it was all
getting to be a little crazy, I did not want to travel so far to get
something like this done. (If I go to europe, it will be to enjoy and
have fun, I dont need to be on pain killers and all spaced out!) I
also wanted to work within the USA
Ladies...If you want to scope out the Europe info, and willing to
travel to Europe...you may need to do some REAL research. I personally
know nothing about the Europe thing. I know many women do it. I had a
great link at one time, but it is no longer available. I wont be able
to help here. But if you want to travel out of the US, go European.
My Decision...Well, to make a VERY long story short, I went with a
surgeon here in the USA that specializes in large custom
implants. - I had these custom made and officially and appropriately
here in the US!! I went with him only because he was TOP at what he
did! (He pretty much has worked extensievely on big implants, he took
measurements, looked at my build, amde sure I could physically
accomodate them etc... made the decision for me to go with the 2000
cc Saline Expanders, yes that is two thousand). My final set is 3000.
As far as money, yes, I paid for some, and financed some too! Those
that may need to, can finance them fully! There are many companies out
there that do this! Check em out! There is info on nicole's site about
this too! Anyone (my fellow female bodybuilders) or anyone at all.
Here are some questions to start a checklist for your first
consultation checklist. Be sure to add your own as it is only a
starting point . . .
This is one of the questions I receive by email most frequently. I
don't have a solid answer because prices are so divergent throughout
the country. The general answer is that the nationwide cost of breast
augmentation from pre-op to post-op widley varies.
It is very important for you to find out if the price quoted includes
the cost of the implants, the anesthesia, any hospital costs (if
applicable) and follow-up consultations.
Keep in mind that the area of the country that you are from and the
doctor that you choose will also dictate your cost. In New York City,
there are doctors that charge as much as 10,000 although between 6,000
and 8,000 is the more likely cost. In the South and Midwest, women
have reported fees between 3,000 and 4,000. The West Coast seems to be
slightly above the average at between 5,000 and 6,000 while Texas fees
have been reported to me on the average of 6,000.
Please bear in mind that Doctors in different areas may charge much
more or less...the cost for hospital, anesthesia and implants can
also vary. Cost of Having Implants redone or replaced. Please be sure to find out
in advance what provisions will be made if you are unhappy. Will a
revision or replacement be done for full, partial or no discount? How
much of a replacement and under what conditions are they covered by a
manufacturer's warranty are questions that need to be asked of each
surgeon.
Bottom line, do your research!

Breast Implants, how it all works? Sizes, Overfilling...
OK, you ordered them, "The BIG Question..." how big you all ask am I. Ha! I am sure you would all LOVE to know...ok, well, maybe I wont say, well, Cant really give a cup size, as a visual...maybe common soccer ball. Cant really say. The sizing they is used in the Implant Industry is done in liquid CC size measurements. Not cup size. Its not like you walk in and say..."I wanna be a D!" They need to work with an implant and you, your structure, shin, build...the whole bit. They range in sizes, from tiny 100 CC type of examples, to 800's. Mostly, anything over 700-800 is a custom job, and need to be specially made.My Expanders were about 2000 CC each (Overfilled to 2400 cc!!)! You also have to look at how different sizes look on different women...this size on me will not look as big as if they were on a petite, tiny, non-muscular 90 pound woman. I am structually bigger, fuller, more muscular...so to get that "Busty" look, I needed to go extra huge, finally to 3000 cc's!

It is essential to understand that implants do not come in A, B, C, D etc sizes. Instead, they come in volume such as ounces or cc's. That is because the implant must be the correct volume to take you to the size you want, from the size you are to begin with. A woman who is a 34B will need a larger implant to get to a 34D than a woman who is starting with a 34C. So, how do we decide the volume needed?
First, how NOT to determine the implant size:
It is all too easy to get hung up on discussions with other women about cc's and ounces. There is a way to determine the correct size of implant for you, and even to see exactly what you look like with that size, in the clothes you like to wear! The whole point of augmentation is the final appearance, not just a number. So the secret is to focus on showing your plastic surgeon the proportion you want, using your own body to demonstrate.
Here's how we go about it in my office: The first step is the most difficult: you have to decide what size bra you want your new size to be. Start by trying on different sizes of non-elastic bras in the store (remember that the band number will not be changed by surgery, only the cup letter), filling the bra with cotton or other padding material, until you see the proportion that is right for you. Also remember that not all manufacturers use the same measurements for a given size - that is, not all 34C bras are the same size. So just find the particular one that you look best in! Buy that bra. (There is certainly nothing wrong with experimenting at home with the "Rice-in-the-Ziploc" method at this point; but there is no point to getting bogged down with the question of how many cc's.) Then bring that bra to the office, along with any photographs that you feel illustrate aspects of the appearance that are important to you.
One other piece of information that it may be helpful to know when trying on bras before or after operation. The breast that fits a bra of a specific band-number and cup-letter will not fit the same cup-letter in a different band-number; for example, if your breast perfectly fits a 34B, if you buy a 32 or a 36 it cannot be a B. That is, a 34B breast is the same size as a 32C breast is the same size as a 36A breast. These do not LOOK the same proportion, but that's the way the measurements run. So, for example, let's say you can wear either a 32 or a 34, just adjusting the strap tension differently. Well, if you fit a 32C, then if you put on a 34C it will be too big in the cup, and you should wear a 34B. We often hear women ask "what size implant should I get to be a D?" Why can that question not be answered without examining and testing the woman? First, we would need to know what the band-number is - a 38D breast is much larger than a 32D breast. Second, we need to know the current breast size exactly. Third we need to know if the implant will be over the muscle or under the muscle. Fourth we need to know whether the implant will be round or contoured. These are all important.

Even a short course on implant overfill can be confusing, because it is a confusing issue. If you are ready for a confusing ride through the bureaucratic maze, here goes. First, an important fact: overfill does NOT mean you will look larger, and does not mean making the breast larger than what you wanted. It means putting the volume of saline that it has been determined you need, into an implant with a maximum rating for a slightly smaller volume. That is another way of saying that overfill means filling an implant to more than the manufacturer's maximum recommended level, period. Why would anyone exceed the manufacturer's maximum recommended level? Read on.
Every implant has an optimum volume of saline fill, a volume that gives the best balance between either wrinkling (caused by not enough saline) or too firm/round (caused by too much saline). Seems obvious and simple so far, just fill the implants to the optimum volume; so what's the problem? The problem is that for most implants, the manufacturers registered the maximum volumes too low with the FDA, below the optimum. So if your surgeon stays within the manufacturer's recommended range for these implants, they will wrinkle noticeably, and if the implant is filled to the optimum, it will be beyond the manufacturer's registered maximum, that is "overfilled".
So for most implants, the majority of surgeons will overfill, that is, fill to the optimum for minimum wrinkling, even though the manufacturer's maximum is exceeded. So what's the big deal here, just go to the FDA and tell them to change the numbers on their records to reflect the real world usage of implants to give the patients the optimum, right? Wrong. The manufacturers did approach the FDA to get the registered volume numbers changed, but were told they would have to spend millions of dollars before the FDA would change those volume numbers in their paperwork. OK, then the manufacturers just should tell the surgeons to go ahead and exceed their maximums to decrease the wrinkling, right? Wrong. The FDA will not permit the manufacturers to actually authorize this overfilling to optimum levels.
Can overfill to decrease wrinkling shorten implant lifespan? Nobody knows the answer to that yet, but a growing number of plastic surgeons are of the opinion that optimal fill to decrease wrinkling may actually help implants last longer. Why? Because we do know, without a doubt, that severe wrinkling leads to premature failure by causing high stresses at the folds and wrinkles. It may well be then that optimal filling, reducing the wrinkling, may actually help the implant, but we do not know for sure. One other indication that overfill may be perfectly safe for implants is that some of the more recent models of implant have been given higher fill volume ranges when they were registered. So why not use only those types? Because they are not available in all sizes and shapes.
Why doesn't overfill change your size? Overfill only concerns the relationship between the volume of saline and the implant itself, and nothing to do with the relationship between the volume of saline and your breast. Because the correct saline volume for you should have been accurately determined by your plastic surgeon in advance (one hopes), then only after that the implant itself is selected for that volume to be optimal. Those are the medical decisions; then, the surgeon will check to see whether that optimal volume is greater than the manufacturer's FDA-registered maximum, and if so, you need "overfill".
Here's an example: let's say you have demonstrated to your plastic surgeon the size you want to be, and as a result, he/she has determined that you need 330 cc's to achieve that proportion and bra size. That is the first decision. Next comes the decision of which implant to put that volume into. Theoretically, it could go into just about any implant, so for discussion let's look at implants rated for these ranges: 210-240, 240-270, 270-300, 300-330, 330-360, and 360-390. What would happen, assuming that these are all the style of implant that was FDA-registered with a sub-optimal volume?
Again, note that some implants, particularly those registered with the FDA in recent years, do not require overfill to reach the optimum volume. Why not? Simply because the manufacturers did better calculations and registered them for volume ranges that included the optimum. So why not always use these implants only? Because they are not available in all sizes and styles. This is all fairly complex, and must be individualized for each patient, so please discuss this all with your surgeon.

The Bigger
Boobs, my competition, work and bodybuilding industry....
Hey, I think I will definitely be the Biggest in the Bodybuilding industry!!! Ha! Many of the larger female bodybuilders, many much taller and bigger than myself, will not even come close to this! Hey, I love it, Its what gives me my whole unique angle! I am doing it for ME, and me only. Dont care if people dont like em, I do! As far as the judges and Competitions...dont care about their opinions. I have the muscularity, strength and detail! Yes, I have been marked down in placings before...even with smaller implants! Geeze, screw them! Its a bodybuilding show....then they scream about symmetry...well, does that not mean then that flat chested women who dont opt to get implants should be marked down too!!?? Common, lets play it fair both ways here! Shoot!...Look, when I got the previous set, they said they were too big a few years ago...now its the going size, so Id fit in now, if I did not get them redone. Ok, they are still a tad big, but in general...even some of the lightweights are competing with big hooters. So, to wrap this up...I will do what I want to do, I have my own direction. I am promoting myself as I do. I dont rely on judges, or who knows who. I rely on me. I dont care what people say, its what I want. Please no e mail on why, and all kinds of speeches and lots a crap, dont really need it, dont want to listen to it...all I can say is I am doing this, because I am. No philosophy behind it...LOVE THE LOOK! Makes me feel wonderful!! SO, there, nough said!

Well, I am having a great time with all of this! I am opening up new opportunities here. Getting into the Adult Industry and Big Bust Industry...NO FREAKY SEX STUFF...I mean stuff like the shoot I did for Muscle Elegance Magazine!!! You know I will NEVER fit into the norm here! What I do is a unique thing, its what makes me me, look at how I have done so far, and my success in my industry so far. Pretty good. Ok, well, I want to have a great time, I enjoy this. And heck, makes a few bucks. What I can bring to this (my bodybuilding) industry is my uniqueness! There really are not too many muscular women out there doing this. I will not be doing sex stuff, but nudes and pics are ok...like the Muscle Elegance Magazine! Playboy style stuff. I feel as if Denise Masino is the Pioneer in the Magazine and Print industry releasing that magazine! I am the Internet Media Pioneer! I am so sure that many more Muscular women will follow us.

Hello, Dawn here...WHY this site?...To Help others and to pass info along
that I have experienced so others may not have to bo through bad things or just
need help. Why did I do everything I did?....Maybe "boobie Greed" like
anyone else can have. Extreemist, yes I am. OCD yes. Maybe influenced by people.
"Why I had been through so much you ask me?"...Truthfully, I dont know
myself. I wish I did, would have made life easier! I think its a combination of
all of the above. Why do any of us ladies get procedures, even more than one? Is
not one good enough? Its the same as me really, not as extreem, but bottom line,
the same.
I am and always have been extreem, a perfectionist, compulsive, very lean and
athletic all my life. It what makes "me". Telling a person they are "bad" looking
isnt real cool though. I dont judge others so harsh. Its like telling an
overweight person, or model thin person that they are unattractive. Its all
personal judgement. I get real opposite opinions towards me, people say I look
great some say ugly. All cool. Im happy with me now though. I am not here to
Impress others. I live for "ME". We all look for intelligent and constructive comments. I do not
always need rave reviews, but remember, no one ever needs rude remarks and hurt
feelings. I tell people that I do all this for me, and this is how I choose to
look and be. We all have our set genetics, we all decide how we want to look, we
choose to have or not to have cosmetic surgery. We have our favorite implants and
doctors. I speak highly of people who have the balls to do what THEY want to do in life, and
not be a follower! Take a chance, be yourself!! YOU make decisions for YOURSELF!
I am advocating the appreciation of YOUR OWN body through the use of breast
implants, not condoning, approving or disapproving ANYTHING.

painstakingly assembled through personal experiences and made available to all.
You may not agree with the way that I look. Ive heard it all, I am WELL aware of

Format Its what Ive been going through with my latest
augmentation, and what Ive been doing, my procedures, problems, and
fixes. I hope you ladies out there can maybe benefit from what I put
here for you all. Along with the info, you will see sets of photos to
follow...Just a little background for New Commers...I have been
through many changes, been through A LOT!! I have a lot of info here
that I am sharing to maybe help others. Ive really been through it ALL
from tiny 310 CC implants, to Expanders...and all the way up to HUGE 3000 CC Implants!!

These Double Lumens are natorious for vaulve problems and leaking....so
I have been in and out replacing one or the other every 6 months!! I
ordered a set of 1600 cc custom solid silicones, and I will be getting
them done in December! I will take pics of the entire day and travel and
stuff. I will post them on this page and add to my Diary as well!.
I cant believe it, Im finally getting help. Ive waited patiently so long, years!

I also had some tweeking done too. Because I had the previous 3000 cc's in , it
gave me some looser skin in between the implants. I really dont mean Symmastia. I
have overs, Its not that. It was just some stretchy skin at the bottom curve of
the boobs. No big huge deal. I am photographed a lot though, so I needed it
adjusted. For going from 3000 cc down to 1200 cc...not too bad! The skin really
bounced back sweet, I didnt need a lift or anything! Brad just sutured the bases
down, did some internal pocket tightening and it looks awesome. My body pretty
much did the rest as far as shrinking the skin...this is why I took those damn
3000's out! BAD decision to do it in the first place! Im still young enough to
bounce back.
Gotta tell ya, Im still a million times happier with these than I was with the
huge 3000 cc ones! Im just waiting for the big companies to release some special
custom sizes....eventually Ill keep this size but loose these beckers and get the
silicones. This is all in the future though. Im all set now though. Im actually 5
days post op now. Doing awesome as usuall, training will resume soon again. I
have sceduled in competition for summer 2005. Just wanted to drop you all a quick
update. I just loaded some new pics in below too. I had them taken about 2 weeks

Things are going awesome! My body is healing fast! All is well.
I have added new info and pics as far as the supplements, vitamins, aminos and perscriptions,
I used this time. The area it is all written in depth in is the Healing and Care section
further down. I really got into my supplements and vitamins even went further into the
antioxidents. Heres a few pics...

he had me use the
ACCOLATE, zafirlukast which I was administered 20 MG Tab once per day...
which is helping tremendously with the Capsular Constriction. Some
Doctors may not like it, but being a patient, I found it great! A problem that I battled
before was water retention...I was holding on one side which would cause assemmetry. I did MUCH research
on what to do. Some doctors say remove the implant, and later replace it. Of course that was a LAST
thing I would do. So I went on an aggressive drug combo, ad WOW...it went away! I found
out about the combo on Nicholes site. I used
CIPRO, ciprofloxacin which I was administered 750MG Tab twice daily. In combination with
MACROBID, nitrofurantoin macrocrystals which I was administered 100MG Capsule twice daily. I
had heard it worked, I gave it a shot and it really worked excellent! As far as my most recent surgery, the
antibiotic that I used was AUGMENTIN, amoxicillin, clavulanic acid
which I was administered 875MG Tab twice daily. This worked well for me. I then followed my usuall care
and good eating and suplementation that I usually do. Keep in mind, if you do what I did,
always check with your doctor or pharmacist to see if its all ok and you will not have any drug interractions.
What I do is very detailed and very well thought out and researched. I just dont do all this randomly!
The care Im taking now is my usuall, I wash with the
HIBICLENS soap as well as use my
BETADINE and my
BACATRACIN OR NEOSPORIN to keep the area clean as it heals. I rarely ever get any infections or have problems
healing an area because Im so picky with what I do.
Dr. Brad Jacobs, New York City is my Doctor for these Becker Implamts.
They are...Mentor Smooth Round 1200 cc MAX Becker Expander, Implant
(25% silicone gel in outer lumen,
75% saline in innner lumen) I have 1200 cc. (FULL specs
and details are in the Full Specs and details Link
in the left hand Menu column) Style Round, over the Muscle Placement,
Crease. I highly reccommens these Implants if you want to go bigger
than the standard solid size which is 800 cc. These Becker Implants
are filled 1200 cc on me. These are
meant to be permanent. I opted to do these because the compliment my
physique more. They will give the fake round look though, but thats
exactly what I want! If you want a realistic look, you may want
something else. The Beckers are totally legal and your PS can obtain
them here in the US! They are made in the US as well as guaranteed
too! They are all on the up and up and any Doctor/PS can obtain these!
I am on the Mentor study group, mainly because these are the only
implants that will work well on me. And to tell you, so far, Jacobs
did a beautiful job, I am VERY happy and they look awesome!!Thanks!

Well...its been a few days. I took a few days to lie around basically.
Ive been eating great (as usuall) I dont smoke or anything, so Im
telling smokers...dont do it until you know you are 100 percent
healed! My eating...LOTS of PROTEIN!! I eat large amounts of
it anyways due to the bodybuilding. I am eating it from many sources
such as each day, I have servings of chicken, tuna, steaks, protein
shakes and lots of amino acids! Im even putting fats in too, as far as
nutts, olive oils, cheeses. Gotta tell ya girls, diet is a real key.
If you are healing....dont worry about how lean you are, healing is
first! I eat foods that are good, (NO JUNK!) so, I maintain leaness
anyway.
Monday October 29th, Im back up and about. Ill be back to work on
Wednesday October 31st. I just wantes to take some time, and do it
right. I feel wonderful...I just hate to sit still! Arrrgghh! I dont
like watching Television that much. Working on my websites has helped.
Right now, Im wearing my usuall bras, or stretchy sports tops. I had
no big bandages or anything like that on me, just a small area of
suture tape over the incision area. The area is underneath in the
crease. I cant do it any other way, not with implants this size. Im
pretty much "normal" I dont swell bad, so Im not having any real
swelling, and no bruising at all. I dodnt have these problems mainly
because this was s replacement procedure. I am sore though, because he
had to re-do the pocket area to accomodate the implant, because the
final is still a tad larger than the expander was. Yes, just a little
sore, nothing else otherwise.
I just want to keep all posted as to my progress and all. This whole
winter Ill be keeping the good foods comming, and a little extra
weight on, give it more than enough time to heal GREAT! Then, in teh
spring, I hope to lean up a lot, maybe hit the bodybuilding scene.
This whole winter is a heal and build thing! Ill keep all posted to my
progress. Ill have some new pics to post later! For now, Im doing
awesome, cant be happier!
In the mantime, Ive
been changing my look, from wild and freaky to just being me. I took
the piercings out, growing my hair out, putting some muscle back
on...just all over good general changes. Im happy with it all, and

I drove myself to the Metro North
Train Station, and caught the commuter train into the City, once
in then city I got a real nice Suite. At 3:00 PM that day, he
fixed the spot...did the whole surgery thing all over again...I hate
waking up after the anestesthia. I feel fine, never get sick, a matter
of fact, always hungry as a horse! But I hate the groggy feeling,
kinda out of it. At about 6:30 PM. I returned to the hotel, slept
till morning. I was all bandaged and taped up, real sore, I headed
home. Once I got back to Connecticut I had to basically lie on my back
for 4 days, had to take any pressure and weight off of the area. Its
now Tuesday March 12th I finally can get up and around a bit,
being very careful! The whole gym thing needs to be put on the back
burner for now...gotta do what you gotta do. Ill pick back up on the
training real fast, but I need to heal up first, no playing around,
this is serious stuff. Ive been putting on the weight, quality
stuff, not fat, looks great, real full again! It all helps with the
healing too, plus eating extreemly well! LOTS of protein! Im hoping
this is it with all this. Ill keep all posted, the bandages are all
still on, so I cant see anything yet.
PROCEDURES, PROBLEMS FIXES AND MY PERSONAL ADVICE AND HELP
THE FIX PROCEDURE...What the Doctor basically did, was to fix
the hole itself, kind of basically, like a complicated patch job. He
was able to do this without removing the implant! Most Doctors out
there are not familiar with this, and would opt to remove the implant
entireley allowing the area to heal and replace the implant at a later
date. In my situation, because of the size, and work, the area would
probably close, or get smaller, therefore not allowing the Doctor to
be able to put the 3000 cc implant back in, so we would have to start
all over again with the expanders. The Doctor avoided this problem, he was
able to fix just that spot while maintaining the whole implant in
place. In a nutshell, he removed the thin area, and closed the thicker
edges back with stiches. He did not put more skin there, he actually
removed the thin spot, and joined the thicker edges together. He
REALLY knows what hes doing, many doctors could not do this!

The following info I am about to give
you is my PERSONAL experience. I am by NO MEANS administiring any
medical advice what so ever!! I am not a doctor, but I am someone who
has been through and has experienced a lot. I want to share and maybe
help someone that had had my problem and seeks some help. You cant
find info like this on the web that is personal and open. This is my
story. What I had legally perscribed to me was by my Doctor to heal my
specific problem. Any other products I speak about, I do so below, and
give you info you need to obtain them, as far as what stores, and the
product specific info. I AM NOT telling you to anything illegal, you
just need to use your own judgement.
LETS START, OK, DO IT SMART... What I found out... DONT go into surgery too lean like I did this time!! Listen, Im not small by no means, Im VERY muscular, but extreemly LEAN too. I have VERY low bodyfat, hence...not enough extra skin to work with. See.? The below info as far as healing and products will be able to help ANY shape person too!! I have some GREAT Info here. Ive been through A LOT, many surgeries and stuff...Ive never had any infection! My wound care is impecable. I do it all smart. THAT IS the key gals!! Use your brains, and talk to your Doctors!! tell your Doctor you read all this too. Maybe even print it out and bring it in! Ok, now that I got you all started, Ill share my personal Info...
BEFORE THE PROCEDURE, STOP DOING THIS STUFF NOW!!...if you are having or had any type of surgery, the following will impede (harm) healing....smoking, drinking alcohol (the obvious, I dont do either anyways), taking in recreational drugs, taking uppers even like caffiene (coffee, tea, sodas etc.) junk foods. Reasons why, they will slow the process! Your doctor will tell you all this stuff! I dont do a lot of this, Im basically guilty of the caffiene thing, so cutting back my coffee as well as the stimulants I use to train with was hard, Did it though, had to. The stimilants actually constrict blood flow, I was suprised, but it does, so you dont want that. You know what the rest of the stuff will do, so stop that stuff now. Then there are certain things you cant even take right before surgery like aspirin as well as certain Vitamins too! Your doctor will tell you all about it. If you have ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT ANYTHING...make sure to ask your doctor!!!!! Ok, moving on...
PRODUCTS TO USE, EATING AND MORE COOL INFO... As far as me personally, the ONLY problem with me was the lean thing...not to mention huge implants too, Ha! Hey, put on the weight, give the doctor something to work with!! You can always exercise when you are all done and healed, you have a lifetime to train, so LISTEN TO ME, AND BACK OFF FOR NOW! Get the surgery done FIRST, and then worry about the rippling abs and ripped legs! So Eat extreemly well! No twinkies or junk food though either! LOTS of proteins! Meats, as well as get those veggis, fruits and complex carbs in! Fuel the body and healing.
As far as supplements, what do I do, lots of proteins and amino acids! What some of the bodybuilders do, to build, if you can have access to these, get some. It promotes rapid healing, and tissue growth. It works for bodybuilding, it will work here too...proteins, aminos supplements and more...but more of the tissue building and growth and repair ones... supplements, proteins, glutamine, aminos, antioxidents, green teas, vitamin e and e, Even more specialized Amino acids and vitamins for tissue repair such as L Lysine, Hair skin and nails supplements, etc... Theres LOTS of detailed info about all this stuff further down. Ok, what I also used, which can be purchased at many health food stores, and nature supplement and foods center stores is DMSO. Its used by athletes, it promotes circulation like crazy, its a topical, a liquid.
As far as my Perscriptions, not over the counter stuff... I was taking an antibiotic, CEPHALEXIN I took the 500 MG caps for 5 days 4 times a day, evenly spaced, a couple days BEFORE AND AFTER surgery. Before surgery, was to get it all in the system and working before you are opened up. Then after those days, took the same medication but at 250 MG for another week or so same thing, 4 times a day. I also used PENTOXIFYLLINE 400 MG tabs, 3 times a day. Its a circulation promoting thing. Its like this, you NEED to get the circulation and healing in that area! These were both very inexpensive, under 30 bucks for all of it. BUT, I also used on my suture areas a gel, called... REGRANEX (becaplermin) gel Its made by Ortho McNeil, NDC 0045-0810-15. I got this as a percsription, but hold your breath, it was 475 dollars! You need insurance, I was thankful I had insurance! Ok, this gel needs to be refrigerated, do not freeze though! Its pretty serious stuff! In a nutshell, medically speaking, its a gel containing becaplermin, a recombinant human platlet-derived growth factor (rhPDGF-BB) for topical administration. Directions come with it.
... April 2004 my last procedure, as far as the Perscriptions I used, this time, he had me use the ACCOLATE, zafirlukast which I was administered 20 MG Tab once per day... which is helping tremendously with the Capsular Constriction. Some Doctors may not like it, but being a patient, I found it great! A problem that I battled before was water retention...I was holding on one side which would cause assemmetry. I did MUCH research on what to do. Some doctors say remove the implant, and later replace it. Of course that was a LAST thing I would do. So I went on an aggressive drug combo, ad WOW...it went away! I found out about the combo on Nicholes site. I used CIPRO, ciprofloxacin which I was administered 750MG Tab twice daily. In combination with MACROBID, nitrofurantoin macrocrystals which I was administered 100MG Capsule twice daily. I had heard it worked, I gave it a shot and it really worked excellent! As far as my most recent surgery, the antibiotic that I used was AUGMENTIN, amoxicillin, clavulanic acid which I was administered 875MG Tab twice daily. This worked well for me. I then followed my usuall care and good eating and suplementation that I usually do. Keep in mind, if you do what I did, always check with your doctor or pharmacist to see if its all ok and you will not have any drug interractions. What I do is very detailed and very well thought out and researched. I just dont do all this randomly!
Cleaning and care, over the counter stuff......what I did was be very serious about this. I had open areas with implant exposed, and could have been open to serious infection! I did not get any at any time. I was not only very careful, but very lucky as well. What I did was ALWAYS keep it cleaned and washed, 3 times per day!! I washed with a Surgical soap, available over the counter, ask your Pharmasist for HIBICLENS, Chlorhexidine Gluconate its an antiseptic antimicrobal skin cleanser. Its about 5 bucks for 4 fl. oz. I would always wash with CLEAN HANDS! I washed the area that was to have surgery with it a few days before surgery, as well as washed the suture area with it when it was healing for a week after too! Its WONDERFUL stuff! If you will be applying anything to your wound or suture area, ALWAYS get the hands clean FIRST before you do anything!!!! Hands are DIRTY. NEVER touch the are until you wash!!! Ok, once washed, id then apply my special gel above, I would keep the wound area moist, id apply BACITRACIN, NEOSPORIN OR AN ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT right on the areas, you can purchase inexpensive store brand products of these. I would then take a sterile NON_STICK GAUZE PADS and put some BETADINE Solution right on the pads, Id also put STERILE SALINE SOLUTION on the pads as well...lots of it. Saline solution, like I use with my contact lenses. Its already prepared and sterile. Dont make your own, just buy the regular contact brand or the no name drugstore brand, its clean and safe no worries. Then, I would tape the pads right over the ares. You can purchase all these materials right in the areas with the bandages, and contact lens stuff. All these things are over the counter, and inexpensive and safe to use. 8 oz of the Betadine is about 15 bucks, its brown nasty looking liquid, smells like a hospital. I suggest wearing dark clothes, because if all this crap gets on clothes, it can trash them. The saline maybe a buck or so. Bandages cheap too. Get the individually sterile wrapped ones, again, safe and clean!
VITAMINS, FOODS AND CARE...Id wear a VERY supportive bra, and keep any weight or pressure off the area as best as I could. No cardio, no training, just back off of that. Dont lift things with that hand. As far as VITAMINS AND STUFF...I was taking my daily multivitamins and minerals. I was also taking in quite a bit of proteins eat those red meats! For those who dont eat meat or protein, shame! I dont care what you usually do, change it for a week or so...you need to heal! Lots of Amino acids!
AMINO ACIDS... are basically Proteins. I take them by the handfull! An EXCELLENT Amino acid is Glutamine! Glutamine is an immunonutrient...the favored fuel for the immune cells! This means you need it when you are ill, or recovering from surgery. During such times, the demand for glutamine exceeds its production and the bodys nitrogen stores become rapidly depleted _ a sign that muscle protein is being broken down. This depletion is a problem since glutamine is required for healing internal tissues and producing muscle protein. Patients hospitalized for surgery, trauma or infection often receive supplemental in their feeding solutions. Researchers have discovered that many athletes are deficient in glutamine _ a shortage that makes them more vulnerable to infections. Studies like this have lead researchers to believe the increased incidence of colds, infections, and other illnesses among athletes may have something to do with the low glutamine levels. Thus, supplementing with glutamine may fend off infections. I have always taken a lot of glutamine and Amino Acids! The Glutamine Brand I use is PROLAB, its 1000 grams per teaspoon. Its a white powder, almost like confectionary sugar. Its odorless and tasteless. You can buy it in any health food, GNC type store. Full and brach chain Amino Acids are excellent and L-Lysine as well! PHOTO OF SUPPLEMENTS
I was taking in extra E, B and C, for healing stress and care. As far as Vitamin E,
I take the Isomer E...
it is a superior blend and is readily absorbed much better by the body. L Lysine is also an
important Amino acid for skin and connective tissue repair...I take lots of that. I was also
taking extra Folic acids, for circulation...all this stuff you can
get in health food stores, sports supplement stores and more. Like a
GNC. I was drinking A LOT of water! You cant get enough in!! Well,
thats all I can say...is be very SMART AND CAREFUL and you will be ok.

A note regarding the following photographs, as you will see, depending
on what "size or condition" my body was in, makes the implants look
different. Determining what will look best on YOU will what YOUR
physical structure looks like. Its very hard to compare to other
people, or find a "bodydouble." You need to base your decisions on
your feeling, dont rely on otehrs opinions on what you "should" look
like. Most important, also work with your surgeon, he or she can give

These are a Horrible US made product and until the FDA passes the OK, Im stuck with these. I have just been replacing one or the other, as you can see by the following pics...

At this very moment though
on September 21st Im really 5 days post op. Man! Sounds confusing, makes sence though.
Went to New York again with Bard Jacobs, yup, had the left replaced this
time. I cant seem to catch any luck with these bad boys, aarrgghhh. seeemd to be
a volume problem, lost some in the left. Was a quick procedure. Ill have more new
pics again down the road.

I had downsized just a tad bit. I feel wonderful! Im
preparing for competition in the summer of 2003...so look out...Im all
into high gear now!! Id like to thank Dr.Brad J. Jacobs for his
incredibe work, being able to see the size that fit me best, work
best with my body type and condition and be able to take such a large
sized implant and take it so far back in size and have it come out
this wonderful. Im so incredibly Happy and Impressed with the
work. The final result was even better than my expectations! Like
he said and I knew all along....the larger Implants hid my entire
physique...and I was so much more than just a pair of boobs. Now...you
can see the entire physique AND the boobs are still big....but
proportionally big that enhances my physique and does not cover it
up!

I downsized just a tad bit.
The larger implants actually covered up some of my physique too much. They are still
pretty big, I can carry larger sizes! I personally opted for this. Big ones really are a pain, they
really do getin your way a lot and stuff! Plus they were very heavy. Brad Jacobs was the Doctor
that did the switch for me. (see pics below) Right now, things are GREAT! Theres a pic of me leaving and packing that morning,
then arriving at the Doctors office 7:00 am., and me in the office "before"
I got these new implants. These pics were just some quick pics to put up!

The following photos are of me, Taken when I was competing in the
summer of 1993. These are the 510 cc Saline Implants. I had these
implants for a couple years, then eventually later I switched up to
the 800 CC sized implants that you see in the "above" photographs. The
"below" following photos are the 510 sizes. In these photos, Im 5 foot
5 inches, I was in competition shape, and only at about 5 percennt
bodyfat.

The following photos are of me, Taken about the summer of 1992. These
were my "first" implants, they were 320 cc Silicone Implants. I had
these implants for a couple years, then eventually switched up to the
510 CC sized implants that you see in the "above" photographs. The
"below" following photos are the 320 sizes. You will see, that on my
structure that they look kind of funny, like little balls. This was my
first set though, and I was basically "flat as a board" when I
started! I was a good old double AA! (If you could ever believe it!
Ha!)
THE FOLLOWING IMPLANTS PICTURED-Summer 1992 ish.: 320cc Silicone Implants, Brand: dont know, Style Round, over the Muscle Placement, Crease. Surgeon for these was not being named. I am not mentioning this surgeon, Im not here to bad mouth anyone or anything. I have higher standards than that. This was many years ago though, and he did a read "BAD" job we will just say. (you can see by the pictures) I did not research him or his credentials (or anything else for that fact), but...the price was right. I did not know. So ladies....LEARN from this!!! Dont be a fool. I was lucky to hook up later with Dr. Andrew P. Ordon who had the ability to fix that nasty mess beautifully!! I give him MANY thanks for that!
